Staying in the worst hotel in Blackpool
Called Osprey Guest house ( hotel )
I spent the night in Blackpool and booked the Osprey guest house/ hotel.
At first the Osprey hotel looked OK for the money i paid £19 the staff was friendly.
My room was number (4) 1st floor and what a hotel room it was VERY SMALL no room to move! But like I say ( £19 )
I can't complain.
Around about 11pm I released my bed was covered in bed bug and I mean covered!!

    Hi Dan excellent video the hotel you stayed in should be clean it doesn't cost much to have a clean room I don't know why hotels get away with it and hotels in Blackpool probably don't have housekeeping staff and there excellent hotels that have a excellent cleaness in Blackpool you do get good clean hotels and the ones that don't have clean rooms are letting the other hotels down in Blackpool that colour scheme is the same that calypso hotel Blackpool they have had a lot of bad reviews because of dirty rooms I'm a housekeeper myself if I left a room like that my manager would go mad there are good hotels in Blackpool the mattress big enough for dawfs 😂thanks Dan excellent video take care pal from Keith

    You paid £328 for that?!?! You and Emma should have marched straight down stairs, and dragged the manager up to show him/her the state of the room, and either; it gets deep cleaned, or a room change. I know I would. It's disgusting for that amount of money. I'd be sneezing and itching, all the time I'd be in there, with my allergies 🤧

    Jesus Christ!! I’ve only had 1 encounter with bed bugs (also in Blackpool), I unfortunately stayed the night before noticing them, should’ve seen my body the next morning, bite after bite, anywhere like that shouldn’t be trading until it’s rectified!

    I (and lots of others) always put my bag down in the bath or shower, after entering a hotel room for the first time. Almost zero chance or bedbugs being there. This then gives you chance to check the room and bed, and no chance of the bedbugs getting in your bag.

      We got hit by them whilst staying in one of the major chains. They do not offer any compensation beyond a refund of your booking. The bites incidentally, will drive you mad. They will swell, itch, bruise; really unsightly. After that my wife checks every room, cottage or stat caravan we stay in. She will not bring any luggage or coats etc into the accommodation until she's certain. Just you do, the mattresses, duvet and pillows get a full inspection. Divan beds are havens for them because they can hide in all those crevices and joints. The mattress seams, too. They're good at stowing away in bags, clothes, shoes and even inside electricals. I'm going on a bit here...but you really don't want to bring those little buggers away with you. I should have just said "Burn everything you took in."
