We are at the end of our kidding season and the 11th has just dropped! It was a little scary but mom and baby are doing fine.

With many more goats kidding we need to recreate our set up in the barn, and our chicks are moving to the chicken coop. Every building we have and every piece of lumber we use are reused materials to make farming affordable which makes it possible.

This is something I don’t have and I feel like it’s hard to open up. But you inspire me to find others I can relate to because living with chronically ill can make a person isolate and not want to deal with other! Yes praise God through the hard times because he is still there and not going to let anything happen to you that he can get you through! He is a loving merciful Father!!!❤ I don’t know if u am at brave yet but talking to others is my passion which keeps me going and the Lord giving me strength to still be sick almost 13 years later. I am much more tired now but also found God in my tiredness. ❤ He picked the ones that go through it so we can help encourage and help others realize they can do it. God is good. You got this beloved and God has your back. Yes when we are limited we see and do things in different ways that others don’t understand unless they been through it!!! Congratulations beloved on accomplishing your goal!!!

We just smoked a rooster last night and it wasn’t very good. He was a chocolate egger, not a meat bird, and super tough.
Did it’s age have something to do with it? We’ve raise meat birds before and half of them were roosters. We didn’t notice much of a difference, breasts were smaller, but we harvested them pretty young.
@@scattershomesteadit was supposed to be the right age, but I think it’s mostly because it was an egg bird rather than a meat bird.
@@criticaloptimistthat’s too bad. If we try it out you’ll get my review on it too. You could be absolutely right.

Aww, so sorry about your tomatoes. I had similar problems this year, and I prefer letting them ripen on the vine too, but it became too difficult. Your garden looks lovely ❤
