I hate boss amps and stupid computer settings , the ga fc ex , is only an extention of top plate , not a set of extra pedals , drive me mad , pushed me away from boss tat. Whats with them WORST placed controll pannel of any amp made ! Totally hidden in a RECESS at the back of the amp 🤣🤣🤣 , talk about design blooper

Patches and stuck with boss's own tack , i have the feeling you will never be up to date with this company , even when buying brand new theres a mk2 or 3 out , that pedals dont work with unless you register your life and download a patch , then it has to be a boss switch ,by then your sucked into playing with apps more than your guitar . Like your kids with their phones you moan about NEXT

If only the controlls were at the front , and the mk2 ex , both annoy you , cheapo practice amps have contolls on the fronts , gets pretty annoying leaning over them to fiddle with the things, computers and boss five switch pedals to use in conjunction with the banks , to many compromises with boss , your stuck with them and their tack ! Just buy an old amp that takes a wah pedal , happy days

Hey Paul great video. But i have a problem, I know this video was about 5 years ago and you may not be a guitar repairist. BUT whenever I move my saddle the pitch of the string does not change. It's like the saddle is just sliding along the string and not actually pulling it. I was wondering if you have a solution to this.

The most bri-ish guide I've ever seen

a couple of things here. one, you need to set the guitar up completely first. if it was already setup before and is now trending sharp or flat, you should adjust the truss rod first as that is the likely culprit on the les paul. once that is done, then intonate it if needed. the other thing is that you should never do this while it is laying flat like that. you should do it in the playing/hanging position because most guitar necks will move ever so slightly while laying like that. same for any tuning. end rant.

Surely you should use a compressor before using a limiter?

Why did you send it to a bus instead of just changing the Master volume? I mean when I master mine I just use the Master volume track and add compression and a limiter to the master volume.

So... all you do is throw in a limiter, bring the threshold down and... voila! I am a mastering engineer! What a waste of 10 minutes!

Thanks for the tutorial! Recently bought a Matt Heafy Epiphone Custom 7. it's short scale length calls for beefy strings. I upped the gauge and it sound so bad lol. Intonated, and it sounds amazing!

Hi why the sound of bias fx 2 preset is diferent when i open it as a plugin?, the stand alone sound is more perfect than the plugin sound?

It should be said that there are 2 ways of recording MIDI into (in this case) Reaper, from a digital piano. 1. Using a USB cable (e.g., my Roland FP4 digital piano has a USB B output) to go directly into one's computer (and into Reaper) 2. Your method, which uses a 5 pin DIN output cable, going in to the 5 pin DIN input on your audio interface, and then connecting your audio interface to your computer via a USB cable
