Gota Music (Official)
Italy
Registrace 16. 02. 2020
We are Katia and Jan, two siblings from the ladin dolomites in Italy.
Our repertoire ranges from meditative sounds with handpan and viola to energetic rhythms with percussion instruments that stimulate dancing.
Jan Moling: Handpan, Percussion, Didgeridoo
Katia Moling: Viola, Voice
From meditative sounds with handpan, viola and singing, to tribal, archaic sounds with didgeridoo and energetic rhythms with percussion that encourage you to dance: under the name Gota, the two South Tyrolean siblings Katia and Jan Moling bring a variety of musical elements into harmony. The songs are sung in Ladin, the mother tongue of the siblings.
The soft, sinuous sound of this language is an important part of Gota's songs. The duo's compositions are inspired primarily by nature and it is one of the main themes of their music.

IT
