CMP Offset w/ iPhone(96-98 GM truck)
Here’s the cheapest and easiest way to check your CMP offset if you’ve got an iPhone. Once you get the right scanner and the right app it ends up being pretty simple.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the EGR exhaust tube will need to be disconnected as well. I deleted mine when I put on headers and forgot to mention it at the time The absolute bare minimum required to get the intake out of the way to replace the back 3 spark plugs. I seen in a video this is your old Eclipse you got back, which is awesome. Seems like when these cars need something they need everything. I just finished my 03 GT Spyder up today, did: timing belt, water pump, front and rear valve covers, spark plugs, wires, new idle air control valve, new egr solenoid, bank 1 sensor 2 O2 bypass, took the fuel temp sensor off a Lancer fuel pump and soldered it to my fuel pumps sending unit. She's all done now running great no codes. This is my second 3g, and I've had a 2g and a 4g but the 3g is my favorite so I had to pick up another (and keep it this time). Great video bro.

How can I find out the sizes of the bulbs for a different Mitsubishi? Will the sizes of the bulbs be written on the holders or even the bulbs?

What spark plugs did you go with and did you gap them
NGK Iridium are the ones, I usually put in my 02 mitsubishi eclipse gt. They are pregapped.
If I remember right I went with NGKs, always a safe bet. Almost all spark plugs nowadays come pre-gapped, so I don’t gap any plugs unless it’s old enough to have a carburetor, and even then I rarely gap them

Good video! Just a tip for some. I have an 2003 GTS Spyder, some a couple things are different. For example the fuel injector connectors below the manifold need to be disconnected before lifting up the manifold(I guess the connection wires are shorter than the ones in the video. Also there's more to disconnect if you want to change the valve cover gasket...such as the hose off the brake booster, the throttle cable plate, and a couple more things. This is to gain more space to get the valve cover off.

id recommend putting the needles for the main gauges while the key is turned to on, so that way the Spidle behind them is set to zero (there is a spring that sets them lower when the power is off to help rest them on the stand offs) . take the car for a drive after, to check if they are too tight or loose. and you'll be set. no need to be sitting there fighting them for 30-45mins finding the correct position

Service Engine and SRS light delete, that got me going but I'm removing my SRS light now too. Nice video, I have some blue LEDs I'm going to try.
I need to do this, I’ll probably do it when I fix my clock and cigarette lighter. I’m hoping I blew a fuse and not messed up the ground, but I’ll check it either way

They sell them on eBay just search up dash cover for our eclipse I got mine for $20 the other day

Question for ya, My blue leds are very dim after installing. I’m guessing I have to send the back of the gauges? Also When your needles glitched out, it was because you pushed them on too hard??? I don’t want to have that problem with my gauge needles if I do this. Thank you! Video is very helpful!
Yes I just pushed the needles on too hard. It doesn’t take much to put them on. Have you tried the dimmer switch? The LEDs are still variable like the regular dash lights
I thought the button for the fog lights didn't light up guess mine is just burnt

What car stereo do you have
It’s a pioneer AVH 2800 or something like that. I bought it at Best Buy way back when. Runs my subs and my back up camera really well. It’s been a great stereo. Double dins are super easy to install on these cars

@Engine Addiction is your car a GT or GS? I got a GS auto and been wanting to see someone do this with all the parts needed etc. I had my car since 2013 and don't have a clue how to do it. Plus it's pretty expensive
