I dont think this ever played anywhere in game. I think it was a cut track that was ripped from the game files. Pretty eerie coming back to all the art and music knowing what the game couldve been with a different studio

Man I remember Nostos. When I first heard about it, I was still in high school. I got my first job at a warehouse and worked a lot of overtime to make enough money to get my hands on a computer and a VR just so I could buy this game. The soundtracks to this game are masterpieces and will stick with my for the rest of my life. I know I'm being a little overdramatic but the game really did leave an impact on me and is the sole reason for me working so hard to get a computer. It's a shame that the game turned out the way it did but I will always carry on hope that one day, something similar may come along and bring us the VR experience that Nostos unfortunately could not. RIP Nostos, an amazing concept with great soundtracks that will be remembered by the few people who's hearts you touched.

god i hate that most good indi games get sent to the shadow realm cos ig that's how life is, this and worlds adrift are some of my favourite games of all time its a shame they wont ever see the light of day anymore.

I hope that one day, Nostos OST will be purchased / re-used into a new VR mmorpg. Not just any VR game, maybe 10 years down the line from now, when we get closer to "full dive" VR. I want to hear this song immersed into a new world..

Still one of the most amazing music pieces there have ever been. Kevin Penkin and Emi Evans. This is just... breathtaking. And yet, most people will never listen to it.

A sad song about a beautiful world that couldn't come to life.

I heard about Nostos before it was released, and then I heard what a terrible mess it was, so I planned to wait a while before buying so things could get fixed up. Then the pandemic happened, and the next time I checked on the game, it was gone. Even knowing how poorly-reviewed it was, I wish I had tried it. I feel like I missed out on something wondrous, like this game would have made me feel a way that precious few other things have, if only the devs had been allowed more time and resources. Maybe in the future, something will take its place...

I'm sorry this game didn't work out as hoped. Hopefully some day it is picked back up again. In the mean time, thank you for this gorgeous soundtrack!

Great musical score, refreshing, and vivid art/visuals...it's a damn shame how this title ended up. It really had a lot of potential and had the opportunity to really make a big impact on the VR side of things with how it was marketed. Just a shame they didn't update it at all, and instead put out a PlayStation release knowing full well what they were doing was a blatant cash grab. Too bad they didn't just sell the rights/assets over to a dev that cared.

I still listen to this soundtrack to keep that small ember in me alive, the ember that is Nostos and will always appear in my memory and dreams often.

It's a shame that trash games get Godlike osts.

I'm convinced that Kevin etheric style of music could make even an hack&slash game profound.

This game could have been so amazing. They just needed to give it more time than they gave it to become what it should have been. I know if they just waited and continued to patiently work on it, it would have been amazing. But at least we have an amazing and beautiful sound track and ost.

Does anyone know where to download the full soundtrack? I heard that they gave away the soundtrack as WAV files in the game folders of owners of the game. But because I never got to even buy the game, I don't have any access. If someone made copies of those files, and public to download on Google Drive or something, that would be AMAZING!

I'm commenting here in case anyone wants to try and revive this game. I have backups of the games files including its music, and seeing how its practically abandonware there should be no problem distributing it. reply if you want them.

God this game could of been something amazing.. such a shame... I followed the game all the way till it's released and bought it day 1... My god was I disappointed and sad about how the game turned out. And I just now found out the game was taken off steam and even the servers got shutdown so you cant even play it

this shit is incredibly sad, you can tell the people who made this game really cared and loved the game it sucks this is what gaming has come to, that things that would revolutionize the industry are put under crunch just to turn a profit and refund investors immediately :/
