The TPE work by Conboys/Kiprov is very interesting. But we need more work to separate out TPE, a medical procedure which Dr. Kiprov charges many thousands of dollars for, from the similar process of plasma donation which can be done for free. The differences are that experiments to date do about 50% of plasma change via TPE vs about 25% for plasma donation, and replacement fluid is saline plus albumin for TPE vs saline only replacement for donation. I'm pretty sure that the Conboys would like to explore the minimum effective volume and totally eliminate the albumin variable as part of clarifying the mechanism of rejuvenation.

When I was young and saw old people, I thought that the secret of aging and death would be revealed soon and people would stop suffering from old age and dying.
