Pan di Ramerino (Rosemary Sweet Buns)
Rosemary continues to get more and more prolific with the passing of years, so I try to collect as many recipes as I can to utilize this beautifully aromatic herb!nPopular on the streets of Florence, Italy, these sweet buns, served with a piping hot cup of coffee, make the perfect little afternoon pick-me-up!
Ingredients:
200 g golden raisins
1/2 cup dry sherry, or other dessert wine
250 g bread flour
250g high-protein bread flour
5 g active dry yeast
2/3 cup warm water + 2 tbsp, divided
1 tbsp sugar
100 g caster (superfine) sugar
2 tsp salt
1 egg yolk, beaten with 1 tbsp water
Rosemary oil:
3 1/2 fl oz extra-virgin olive oil
20 g fresh rosemary
Simple syrup:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
Instructions:
Make rosemary oil by placing oil in a small saucepan. Over low heat, add rosemary and infuse for 10 min. Remove rosemary sprigs, and strain any remaining bits. Set aside and let cool.
Place golden raisins in a bowl. Add sherry, and 1/2 cup water. Let sit 15 min. Drain and squeeze any excess liquid, and set aside.
Combine 2/3 c warm water, 1 tbsp sugar, and yeast. Let bloom for 10. min.
Combine both flours. caster sugar, and yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
Add salt and rosemary oil, stir to combine.
Add additional 2 tbsp water, one at a time, until dough comes together and is workable, without being too sticky.
Turn out onto floured surface, and knead for 5 min.
Add raisins, and continue to knead for another 5. min, sprinting surface with additional flour as needed.
Transfer to a bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 2 hrs. Dough should increase in size, but not quite double.
Line baking trays with parchment paper.
Divide dough into 12 sections, and form dough balls with hands, placing on baking tray.
Cover and let rest for 1 hr.
Brush with egg wash, cover with a damp tea towel, and let rest another 30 min.
Preheat over to 400 degrees F.
Using a lame, or sharp knife, cut a criss-cross pattern into tops of buns.
Bake 20-25 min, until golden brown.
Meanwhile, make simple syrup. Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil, and allow to boil until sugar is completely dissolved and mixture is clear.
Immediately after removing buns from the oven, brush with simple syrup.
Transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
Enjoy!!

Glad I found this
Just after watching this. Came for the information and left a happy father seeing others involving children in their gardening. Great job mom and dad!
A video full of love. ♥️
Thanks for the tip!! Your Grand😊son is adorable
Helpful- thanks!
What a sweet little boy
Thank u. I am a first time grower of eggplant needed to know this . Your kid is the cutest thing . Loved hearing his voice .
Love the helper! Exactly what I needed to know - thanks.
Cute baby boy
Wish you would have said to leave a shelf to sit on in the beginning :(
I have been making this for years now. Whenever i think i forget something i run and watch your video. I'm making some right at this moment lol so delicious!
OH, no. Am I too late, the srputs have already form. Can I still trim them?
Your video is a great reminder of the value of patience and perseverance. It takes a lot of time and effort to grow and harvest melons and oranges, but the end result is so worth it. And the fact that you're able to make a living by selling them at the market is even more impressive. Keep up the great work! And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
mine are sooo small, and then it went from the pruple to a greenish color but got even bigger... did I wait too long?? thank you
Use a pint jar to premix your solution if mixed add to sprayer and top off with water
Last time I mixed like this I dropped the dang spoon in the sprayer dohhh 🤦♂️😂😂😂
Thank you both ! Great info and what a precious boy!!
GREAT video!!!!! 😂❤❤❤❤❤❤ I can't stop laughing because it's real and TRUE! Dad is wonderful!!!!! When I'm in the garden I also have to multi-task, grandkids, dogs, other adults, etc... I'm growing eggplants which is why I tuned in. Very Informative and entertaining! Beautiful family! I'm now subscribed! ❤ HSTL zone 6
This is the most informative "when to pick eggplant video" thank you
Thank you because I see I now let one of them go too long and I’m nope running to the garden to harvest the ones that look just like yours 💜🙌🏽
Thank you for knowing when your eggplant is ready to harvest and how to cut it off the plant! Good parenting job as well!
Being a Father is priceless God Bless❤
My first two are about half the size of yours, but to me it almost seems like they're losing their sheen a little bit, so I'm going to pick them. I have fertilized and done everything correctly so I'm not sure why I'm not getting larger fruits. And I only have four of them growing at the moment, no new flowers, and it's mid-august already. 😢. But the plant itself is vibrant and healthy and green with big nice leaves. I broke off a bunch of blooms a while ago when these 4 fruits started because they say they only have between like four to six growing at a time, but I thought I would start getting new blooms when these started to ripen and I haven't. I do have the Little sprouts coming up between the stems that usually put out blooms but I don't see any new little buds yet. Hoping to get at least one more round of egg plants before winter.
Found you guys today, inquiring about eggplant (nome of the gatdeners i watch grow eggplant! - so sad) Watched a few more videos, & just want to wish you all well. Maybe just film a 2023 garden tour with music for us? Pleeeease! God.bless you all!
You have a very nice garden
I just tried to pick one mine. It stabbed me (I forgot about the thorns on the green part). I just walked away, "fine, you're not ready yet" 😅.
BEAUTIFUL
I find stuff in your home garden is usually always smaller, for the most part not always but more often than not. However it usually makes up for the small size in much better flavor. And then sometimes you'll have stuff that is 10x the size of storebought stuff cause they can't sell those inconsistent freakish sized things at market. So that's kinda the fun of home growing you never know what you're gonna get but it's always fun no matter the outcome. Unless of course the outcome is a bunch of diseased and dying plants that no matter what you seem to do just keep dying, there's nothing fun about that, even that though, if you manage to bring them back from the brink of death with fertilizing and care and sprays and love, that stress suddenly turns into joy and an amazing feeling of knowing that you brought these plants back from abyss and now they are the thriving. My bf always wants to give up on plants the second they start looking a little tired and I'm always saying that if there is still green then it's alive and trying to live and there is a chance to bring it back. We had a purple bell pepper I refused to give up on this year and sure enough it came back. He wanted to tear it out so many times hahaha. Anyways though, I'm rambling. The eggplants look great sir, keep it up.
iNTERRUPTION OF THE CUTE BABY AINT CUTE TO YOUR MARKET. u DOING FOR US, NOT YOUR FAMILY.
I👨🏿🌾 used the leaves to cover the Soil, help trap in moisture, and nutrients as the leaves decomposes.🤜🏿🤛🏿😎
Wow, I👨🏿🌾 literally just pruned my Brussels and Broccoli earlier today! I took a chance and it paid off after seeing your video.🤜🏿🤛🏿😎
😍
take your hat off,can not see what you are cutting
Thanks for this :) and i also will be adding beans after pruning!
Those Brussel greens are great eating kind of a waste to just throw the away.
I've heard that but never tried. Thanks for sharing 👍
Another channel, When they do a video like this. They prune , then wait until the time to harvest. Film that to show what effect it had. on the size of the Brussel sprouts. You could leave two plants un pruned to show the difference it made.
How could you possibly have tender crisp when you put it in in three batches?
Thank you & beautiful child
Great video thank you @ Also Great tip for what to do with the leaves.
This looks amazing!! So glad I hopped on YT before I started dinner tonight bc I have everything needed for this. I just needed the recipe. 😆 Thank you for sharing!! Can't wait to eat supper now!! 😍
Thanks for the video; it's my first year with eggplant. The kids were adorable!
You are such a good dad - your family is adorable
What do you use to keep bugs away

They look delicious! I think that is an interesting flavor combination. I also looooooove golden raisins, so I'm definitely in!
