Having picked up our miles in the South we head back to Walker Pass for the final push to Kennedy Meadows. First a stop for tacos. Effin tacos had some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. If you’re ever in Ridgecrest check them out.

The Audio SUCKED for at least the 1st 4 minutes! I couldn't even enjoy my Tor-Tillas and Salsa because the crunching was washing your words out completely.

Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water. You're hiking in a dry place. Heat can be very dangerous.

I went to high school in Tehachapi.. Remember it's always windy in Tehachapi because my Mojave sucks.

What exactly is the LA aqueduct
The aqueduct is a canal above ground and below and sometimes in a pipe that brings the water from the mountains to the greater Los Angeles area. Often surrounded with great controversy.
I think I speak for all viewers that you should have a "we are here" segment. When you see a map of the PCT please point to your approximate location and say "We are here!"

“Stay on trail” wtf! We need to make the 3letter agencies that make/enforce those “rules” on our free lands that we fought for, adhere to the same rules! They sell and steal and pollute our lands everyday, then tell us to wear our obey hats!!
And us citizens require permits for use of such lands
Hikertown is pretty cool! Today's hike was like a kids gentle roller coaster, like you said. I hiked it with you and I feel pretty good! You're looking pretty ok so far. I think I'll have a burger for dinner 😊

PS the original Mos Eisley overlook is Dante’s View in Death Valley and a ton of the desert scenes in the first movie were filmed north of Badwater.

So if you didnt have a permit, and there was an unfortunate accident because the bad tacos kicked in, you couldnt change your clothes until you were off the property?
We’re hikers, when bad tacos kick in we stop and drop right there.😂
Thankfully the longer than normal video drop wasnt due to an encounter with a kitty cat!
