Water ingress is a bugger, always seems to find a way through. I've seen perfectly sealed led units that create condensation inside due to temperature change, and thus damaging from within.

That's bad luck, here they just send a new one as Waranty sometimes you don't have to return the old one, I have it for a year now and works stil fine.

@@DennisDIY yup had er 1 op school vroeger. Zelf nooit gebruikt. Ik wil er 1 maar weet niet hoe zoon ding werkt en hoe je zelf moet designen. Je kan er meerdere tegelijk printen als je plateau groot genoeg is

Misschien kan je me een goeie tip geven voor een 3d printer? Ik heb er nu een en dat werkt niet snel en pakt de filament niet, lijkt wel te dik te zijn, ik heb nu een easytreed 3d. Het lijkt me leuk wat te doen. Met 3d printen namelijk.

Ja ik har er 3 geprint dat koste 1 hele rol a 15 euro en waren niet heel netjes en sterk

Totally agree. The clamp is weak. It’s a fine straight edge though.

As I mentioned, I have no problem with it, it's just good as a guide rail, working fine on the circular and jigsaw, I not have bene using it for gluing or clamp stuff together to hold. But for this purpose it's just fine.

I did see they have difrent dimensions, mine is 120, and for clamping it fits only a sheet of 101. But there are also ones that are smaller

@@DennisDIY and that’s the issue, I bought it with the thinking it was 120cm clamping capacity with it been the more focused on number but then somewhere else in smaller writing says 101cm clamp capacity which is the more important number, ‘cause why would the overall length of it be more important that it’s intended use size

True I should have mention it in the video, max clamp size is 101cm, so the sheets 120 or 122 won't fit

Here it's most of the time 122, when ordering this one I had the same idea.. And then it turned out it was only 100

They do not provide enough clamping force for a quality glue up. Better off with pipe clamps. This only useful as a straight edge IMO.

@@wayward-saint I find them fine for gluing up - I don’t need a whole load of pressure, once I get squeeze out I stop. No point in putting the glue in if you’re going to squeeze most of it out again.

Sometimes they also do sell this pipe clamps, I didn't make it to buy them from parkside, they are always quite quickly sold out

@@quirkygreece use a pipe clamp to squeeze it tight enough you can’t even see the seem. There’s plenty of glue left to hold. If you squeeze out too much just use less glue.

Good point, maybe I should make a comparison with and without the bracket 🤔

WD-40 is a rust remover, lubricant, contact spray, anti-corrosion spray and parts cleaner, so it's perfect for lubricating your hedge trimmer in between. I get your point, but for a hedge trimmer, WD-40 is perfect. You indicate that it is not good for this, but that is total nonsense.

@@DennisDIY WD40 is a decent lubricant for the trimmer but is not good for the hedge! It's NOT recommended for hedge trimmers for that reason. It can poison the tips of the hedge branches and leaves. There are many alternatives specially for hedge trimmer blades.

Well I do it for about 30 years now, the hedge is still in shape 🤣

It's just fine, the cheap tools motors just make cheap noice. I have another one that's brushless an 12v that does make another sound. This is just okay for the price
