The floor of the boat was pretty rough as could be seen in earlier videos. So I tested an area in the front with an orbital sander and then ended up pressure washing the entire floor. We also painted the ceiling with Lowe's Marine paint.

How much did you sell it for ?
My suggestion is, since the boat got wet, dismantle most elements piece by piece to restore wood, skrew holes, hinges and fiber glass, clean cushions and disinfect from fungus, remove wire by wire before you power anything to prevent electronic equipment damage, shorts and fire (also corroded connections that can burn later due to hot spots). Clean polish and repaint / gelcoat everything. Then reinstall a safe wiring, restored wood, functional and reliable systems, comfortable interiors, etc. You will succeed !!

I had 2 Nimbles...the Nomad (the smallest one) and the Wander( Largest one). Enjoyed them both.
Good to see life jackets on the kids while on deck.
So which part was the "Shake down"?
Do you still have her? And, what have you found are the pros and cons? I’m looking to buy one as a Florida get away.

hull speed is probably about 4.5 and you are gobbling fuel to push it to 8 mph.,

That rough sound coming from applying the oil,...someone didn’t sand through the courses up to at least an 800 grit!

I think i figured it out , that looks like a 20 inch shaft outboard? With the cavitation plate flush with the tunel and not the bottom correct? That why my boat cant steer well , my cavitation plate is flush with bottom of boat . Can you comment? Thanks!!

Is it gelcoat or paint? If it’s gelcoat you could try lightly wet sanding to cut down on buffing.
