I have a big question I cannot seem to get answered. How long can rage Ultra stay over epoxy that is not primed during a restoration? Let me add that the car is inside the garage all the time but now that summertime is coming the humidity may be increased
Can anyone help with a link to the production of cream hardener?
got a good helmet you can use to look straight down so when your on top of a vice etc and wanting to tig for example, You can see the piece ??
clean the surface and rods with acetone you get in small dispensers at pharmacies in the nail polish section
Turn the music off
say i need to cover a welded seam and use fiber tech. Would the right procudure be scratch 36 or 80 then apply and level riber tech,Epoxy car, then poly filler skim coat, high build primer? This is for the sail panel welds on a novas qtr panel. Thanks man.
How does this compare to slick sand?
I've been using the 4:1 superbuild for a few months now, in my opinion its easier to sand and the built in guide coat is surprisingly handy, I don't think it builds as much as slicksand but I still prefer the superbuild.
Why do you think the loud music while someone is talking is a good idea?

What can I use to thin this? The TDS says not to use plastik honey so now what? Love the product it buys me way more time and alot less wasted product from drying to fast but it needs a thinner consistency in my opinion.
Thanks a Mint for this informative tutorial !!! Narrator concise clear and professional
This video series is very good too bad there are not more views.... Can you please comment on whether using that Mirka DA is a good choice as far as gross body panel contour is concerned? Usually everybody wants to use the longest sanding block possible to keep everything straight and level. I have that mirka sander so if I can use it that would be great. Thank you.

Why didn't it turn green before sanding? Is it such a subtle difference?

I’m about to use the strawberry banana wet wax on my F150 Black in color. Any tips with a high speed buffer??
please you give me your mobile number
What's the shelf life of the 440? Mine went off and smelled really bad so I tossed it.
I love the Evercoat rage and Optex. I'm in Soyth Africa and the tech said to me that the only difference in the colour change but now I hear the Optex has less pin holes. I don't use a scale to weigh the filler, different methodology down here and I was wondering if it won't be worth it to print the colour the body filler should be when catalysed and still wet so that the user can compare and then know they put enough catalyst in or not?
As an Auto Collision Instructor, very valuable content! But who is the ding dong, that decided to stretch this out thru 7, 2-3 minute videos, with the first 40 seconds of each video, explaining who the 2 guys are? Unusable for assignments. No wonder you only have 2-5 likes per video. I wouldn't watch these even as a Tech! But I persevered as an instructor, hoping to use these vids as a video assignment. Love Evercoat products, but you all need to can your marketing folks! Seriously ridiculous! Folks have been trained by watching TV, at about every 8 minutes, there would be a commercial. Make a nice video......about 7-8 minutes long! That's all.....
Hi Tim, First off, thanks for your feedback. Our intent with these videos is to effectively inform techs to make the most of our products to make great repairs. If something is getting in the way of that, we need to know. I can completely agree with you that the intros can be a bit tiresome when watching the Body Filler Basics series in one sitting. A version of this series in just one video without multiple intros is a great idea and something we will look into doing for this set of videos and future projects. For now, as a temporary fix, I have gone ahead and implemented timestamps for each video to quickly skip the intro and go to each chapter of the video. Thanks for your feedback and for sticking with Evercoat!
Great Job Tim
Check out all them swirly scratches hes adding to the clear coat.!!. Top notch Detailer there.!!.
Great interview!!!! tons of great info here, thanks!
How did I come across this- I was just tryna find videos on auto magic writing
RAGE is a JOKE! You can get the same results with DYNATRON Bondo or any other "CHEAPER PRICED" Brand. People that use this crap are Idiots! At the beginning of the video he mentions EL EMANATES PINHOLES -- Then after the "BONDO" is applied and sanded HE Starts Fixing PINHOLES! Pathentic and USELESS!
didn't see any elimating steps..and I guess you can't use this over metal even if its epoxy based
Similar to Hydroshine. This one works while the surface is wet or dry while Hydroshine needs a wet surface. It also offers more UV protection and has anti static properties.
I waisted alot of bondo cause I could not get mix right but when I did I really like the rage ultra but would u recommend the optex for a beginner person on bondo work and do the mix for longer time frame

TOP produkt, celosvětově nejlépe brousitelný prémiový tmel, obsahuje patentovanou složku ECORESIN, což je přírodní pryskyřice šetrná k životnímu prostředí, díky níž je povrch jemný, hladký a lesklý a broušení mnohem snazší než s jinými běžnými tmely. Eliminuje potřebu použití dokončovacího tmelu. Zrychluje proce opravy a snižuje spotřebu brusiva. Je lehký a přesto nestéká ani při vertikální aplikaci. Obsahuje také ZNX-7 pro výbornou přilnavost na pozinkované oceli a hliníku. Tužidlo je součástí balení.
I am painting an entire 54 year old GM pickup. It is for myself. I have seen the box store and even dealerships body shop use the "Old School" stuff. (Being polite here) I don't have buckets of cash sitting around, but I don't want huge sand scratches, clogged sandpaper, pin holes and worst of all, the shrinkage that shows up a month after it's painted. Please think of putting part numbers in the description, even dish soap brand, oil based cleaner. One thing I learned, was the 440 Express wait time of 20 minutes or so, as the helps with tiny sand scratches and pin holes that may occur. It is little things I notice and perhaps a form of OCD. Yes I worked on one brand, but open the hood after I did my own valve job, the wire harness clips, connectors or even other things would not be a give-a-way that the cylinder head was off. I felt it was deserved by the owner for my work. Even the wait time for working the 440 Express was important. For that, this old wrench thanks you. ASE Master Tech since 1978 - Retired
Dang look at that dudes phat ass watch good thing he’s careful
Can this primer go directly over the your guys fiber reinforced fillers? Fiber Tech, Everglass, Glasslite? Or even Metal 2 Metal?
Donde lo venden
I'm asking the same question as the other poster - so doesn't this work the same way as Hydro Shine...?
Видео вышло два года назад, а я только сейчас её начал использовать. Шпатлёвка супер!!! Всем советую.

who taught this guy how to spread bondo? bad ...bad video... spreading bondo is an art in itself
If you are referring to the "See-Thru" look shown when discussing restorations, in todays chemical wonders, even 3M calls this out as "Tite-Coat". This eliminating air pockets and wetting the surface. It looks strange but done first, it spreads the chemicals in the filler into the sand scratches much less gets a thin even coat of the product into 220 grit sand scratches in the clear coat. Then they apply a filler coat or build coat to shape the filler to the point extra steps are not needed and use of the filler is reduced. Any video from a collision shop to restoration shop uses this method as it helps in hot weather. Sylvester's Customs has a video using two Ever-coat products at 50:1, but not even mixing it until you get to the vehicle to start. You be you, I get that. I honestly have never mixed or applied 1 sq in of Evercoat product but I have diagnosed and repaired more 12k in cars in over 40+ years. Chemicals in paint have changed, plus the use of epoxy's as sealers and high-build products and final sealer. Even if the vehicle was stripped which has changed. The EPA banned the sale of Methylene Chloride in "Aircraft Stripper" so I have the spray-on answer and it is not soda, glass or sand. So, do some research and you will see the "Tite-Coat" method of the first application of any filler, but it not Bondo! That is calling anything with treads on it a "Caterpillar" when it not made by Caterpillar"! Just be cool and look around as this makes sense! Ok? DK, Omaha. ASE Master Tech since 78, retired.
Evercoat extreme body filler it dries too fast 40 years into this business sounds really nice kind of brittle and put would be nice seems like it shrinks a little more than I would like it I'm just tired of trying to figure out body work and don't want to spend a lot of money on fillers and b******* have used the old kind and did really good it is lasted way over 20 years plus
Work time is not even close. I'm at 94* in the shop and if I mix 50/50 I get up to 2 - 3 minutes. I'm going to try it straight from the can to see how long I get but very disappointing.
was the sun shining on the area you were working on? I want to use this but was worried about a situation like that because the metal surface temp can get much hotter than 94 air temperature if the sun is shining directly on the part.
More like over priced ultra junk. Works great in flat surfaces like a closed hood, trunk lid, roof. Don’t apply it to anything on a vertical, like a door, fender or quarter panel. Unless you have a rotisserie and a ladder. Great product if you like to chase it from running to the ground. It’s soup soup soup soup soup, hard.
Cap color that matches pad is a great idea. Good stuff.
Same thing as hydro shine?
