CamelPhat is a timeless plugin! Even in 2024 some of the best producers in D&B still use it in every track :D

@@arah8079 There is a PC version out there and so we believe a MAC one too, good luck on your quest :)
@@arah8079 Actually what happened is, that Apple bought Camel Audio a few years ago and redesigned the plugins to match their own design and integrated it into Logic. Unfortunately we cannot use these ex-Camel Plugins in other DAWs… CamelPhat is now "PhatFX" in LogicPro. Also "Alchemy" is in Logic.

why use compression on kick instead of editing the amp of the original sound? i know its all pretty much the same but would it not make more sense?

I found this really interesting. I've been a reason fan since 2007 I started with version 5 to learn. I've been producing bit's but I am still learning to be honest. I mainly use samples, breaks and jungle anything drum & bass really. Hunting down oldskool jungle samples for a few year's I've now got a pretty good sound bank. But this was very interesting, I haven't been using the spider to split thing's and now I can see exactly what it's for. I've always struggled to make my breaks and especially bass stand out, more punchy and full. I've got a very bad habit of starting a track and then giving up and it's really frustrating because I've got so many ideas. I really need to learn properly and watch more about what reason can do. With the version 12 it's great because obviously I use samples and it has the mimic sampler. I will watch more of your videos and hopefully learn a lot more, I hope you will be uploading more about reason in the future. I have definitely subbed👍🏻
