Watched a film not long ago about a young lad supporting Bromley who was now a comedian. Its fans of these clubs that are the lifeblood of the game. Well done Bromley hope that little lad is ecstatic not so unfashionable now this is why promotion from the non league has been a good thing for the game. i remember teams winning the conference by miles and not succeedingin getting up as clubs seemed to get reelection easily. now the conference is as entertaining as any division.

I don't know what it was like in your end, but I was in the Solihull end and the crowd was very different to the typical fan who comes to National League games. We were surrounded by alcohol fuelled idiots at their first Solihull match who'd been on the pop all day, refused to sit down, the language was appalling, and I am in no rush to go and experience that again. As regards the game, it was excellent which took the edge off things in our end and congratulations to Bromley. I'll watch out for your results next season.

For a while we’ve been rooted at the bottom of the West London pecking order .. but 100 % Fulham and Brentford would never create this support / passion / atmosphere that we can. Our fans have stuck with the club and now we have new generations coming through following us. Onwards and upwards .. away ends will be fuller and noisier with R’s fans from now on.
