Please can i have your WhatsApp contact?
Can u show the hoops next time that u have hunting up while explaining the different sizes? Thk u
I have a separate video all about embroidery machine hoops that explains those things. It's part of my beginner series which might help you a lot if you're just getting started or need a refresher: czcams.com/video/MVfrC9JpRy4/video.html
Love ur glasses❤
So how do u know Facebook Market place is honest?
You never know about the honesty or integrity when buying used equipment. Facebook, ebay and etsy have ratings systems which help but they're not foolproof. It's part of the risk involved with getting that lower price. If you're not experienced with buying used equipment, it's better to stick with a dealer. And many dealers have a small selection of used machines for sale.
I want to do Greek letters and shields what machine is best?
Any machine can do that. You'll probably want to buy the greek symbols and shields from 3rd party designers on the internet and a google search should be able to find many people selling designs like that for sorority and fraternity gear. Figure out what size you need for greek letters and sheilds and buy a machine with a hoop size that can accommodate your sizes.
Jump stitches?
Jump stitches are the threads on top of your design when the needle moves from one area to another. Some machines will cut the thread before jumping to the next position, while other machines will drag the thread and you need tiny scissors to cut all those thread on each design. Since you mentioned in another comment that you want a machine for business purposes, the jump stitch issue is a big deal. Some commercial embroiderers prefer to cut those manually so they can get another project on the machine faster, while many home based businesses prefer to have the machine cut those threads so they have less work to do.
I want a machine to regularly for business purposes
I have an older video where I talk a lot more about home versus business use for embroidery machines. I think you'll find that useful czcams.com/video/64h2PGaOEIg/video.html And good luck on your embroidery journey!
My problem is everyone wants it done for free.
That head is tiny…how would you make it for a bigger doll head of 10cm?
You would create the wig exactly the same way, just make larger loops of yarn for a bigger head. Use a tape measure to figure out how long you want the hair and find or make something to wrap the yarn around. (a book, a cereal box, etc) It will take some practice to decide how many wraps you need. It depends on how thick your yarn is and how full you want the hairstyle to be.
thanks for sharing great info
Any feedback on the Janome sewing and embroidery machine £1800 in the U.K. help. As I do lots of sewing embroidery by hand takes me years to complete
Janome makes great machines. They are a bit less user friendly than brother/babylock but very high quality.
I want a an embroidery machine that sews flowers bees birds and animals
All embroidery machines can do that and will have a few built-in nature designs. But all new machines have a USB port so you can get any design from the internet and stitch them. The design possibilities are endless.
I love that this video is simple and straight forward and gave me the information that I needed. I hope to see a new one in the future of different machines.
I try to update this video every 2-3 years. Depends on how fast the technology changes. 😉
I am so happy I found your channel. You are so informative and your video is very good quality. Thank you for taking the time to do this series.
Thank you! Great ideas. I just figured out my Bernina 570 QE embroidery unit so I am new to embroidery but i think i am addicted!
Welcome! It can be addicting. If you find yourself wandering the house looking for things to embroider, you're hooked!
🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 The best of many that I have watched. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for your honest comment. I now know that the choice of wich machine depends on what fabric or items I want to work on. Also a good reminder is the power of the machine!! All in all good honest information, just what I needed on my first steps into home embroidery!!!
You’re added information about affiliates and influencers. I did not know. I knew that sort of thing about advertising, but I didn’t know about in the media. I am going to share this with my family. Thank you so much.
You are very welcome! Influencer marketing is expected to be $24 billion dollars this year! It's big business now. I've got no problem with influencers making a living with brand relationships, as long as they follow the laws so consumers know what's going on. ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
I'm going to try a thread stand after seeing your video. Thanks for the information
Bernina formats depend on which Bernina you have. Some use ART, PES, DST, and EXP.
Don't buy a HAPPY commercial brand if you live in Queensland. There is no service guy for them anymore. Don't believe what the AUS manager tells you, or you'll be stuck with a 10k+ nitemare when something goes wrong.
Good advice and thanks for sharing! Having a nearby dealer or repair person is a big deal - especially with the big machines.
Lots of great ideas! Thank you 😊
I love the gift bag idea! This is going to sound really dumb, but do you have a tutorial for it??? I don't sew much~~
I don't have any tutorials for the gift bags. I'll consider that as the holidays approach. I make mine very simply, just like a pillow case and I hem the opening. I like to box the corners at the bottom but that is optional. There are lots of vidoes for making pillow cases, and for boxing corners. I'm sure you can do it - it's a very easy sewing project.
@@BallyhooCreations Thank you
Can I plug the USB directly into my computer?
YES. You will need to plug the usb stick into your computer to load designs, then plug into your embroidery machine so it can read them. Whether you use a short extension cable to save wear-and-tear on your usb ports is completely optional.
You are the most informative site!!!!!!!!
Fantastic video!!!! I can’t state enough how great this video is! Going through every issue showing samples and the resolution! Your balanced voice tone and speech is very delightful. Thank you ❤

Such a lovely and informative overview. Thank you so much!
You are so welcome!
I have bought the organ needles for sewing, and I like them. I’m a little leery about ordering the organ embroidered needles because there doesn’t seem to be any marking on the packaging stating they are embroidery needles. Great video by the way!
Good point, the Organ needle package doesn't state Embroidery. They have a chart that tells you what all the needle codes are for. The ones with EB in the code are for machine embroidery. I typically use the HAX130EB in both single and multi-needle machines with no issues.
Thank you so much! That helps a lot!
Excellent video. Thanks so much for starting at the beginning to explain how easy setting this stand up was.
Glad it was helpful!
You are awesome!!! Great info!!
I appreciate that!
Can you wind a bobbin on a regular sewing machine for your multi needle or is the bobbin a different size?
It depends on you sewing machine. Try it and see. For example - Metal bobbins don't fit my Viking but work fine on my vintage singer.
The tip for the lose ends of threads is amazing I've just done it to all my threads I'm so happy you shared that tip thank you
Glad it was helpful!

Absolutely amazing ! Thank you
You're very welcome!
This was GREAT!
I have Janome memory craft 550E about two years old. It has been in dealership (here in Italy) for about two and a half months. Charged me EUR 200 and nothing has been fixed what they mentioned in invoice. I have found local store for sewing machines, embroidery machines and circuit and the lady has helped me great deal with her technician but there is only so much they can do... I am frustrated to no end. But this video has made it so much better! I will try to use this tips and tricks and hope it will help. Thank you!
I'm sorry to hear you're frustrated with your Janome 550E. (ʘ ͜ʖ ʘ) That machine has a LOT of features and large hoops so there are MORE mistakes that can be made. Hopefully the tips in this video will help you. I also have a free series of videos for beginners that is useful even if you've been embroidering for years. You might want to watch those if you haven't seen them already. Most of us have to learn our machines the hard way -after making Many, MANY mistakes.
@@BallyhooCreations I have watched your videos and they are just great! I could tackle few problems with the tension and breakage of the thread. Except one thing. I can not do anything about reducing the speed because it is all greyed out. I will have to ask local store technician if he can do something about that. So simply Big Than you for all your tips and tricks, it made the world of difference! 🙂
Does the color on the inside of the Dongle matter? I have a white one on insides but on my machine, inside is black.
White is an older version for USB 1.0, while the black is 2.0. People use the word "dongle" to mean different things. Did you mean the actual USB stick is white inside? That might not work. But if you're talking about the short USB extension cable, then try it and see. I suspect the short cable that is white inside might work. Either way - try it and see if it works. I'd be interested to know what happens for you. (◔◡◔)
Yes, it definitely works. Had mine for a few years because my sewing machine bobbin winder doesn't work.
CZcams is so useful for information like this, but I have to say, you are on another level! You're right on topic, speak clearly, quickly, and have very useful information.
Wow, thank you! (●'◡'●)
how to transfer from computor to usb stick
You move embroidery files the same as any other file on your computer. Open a folder where your designs reside on your computer, and open another "folder" for your USB stick (it might be D drive or H drive, something like that) Then click the files you want to transfer (you can shift-click, or control-click for multiple files) then drag them into the USB folder you already have open. They will be written to the USB stick. I don't have a video on this process but there are many on CZcams. Search for "transfer embroidery files to USB" and you should find some.
Thank you, as someone, who cant work a traditional work I'm looking into maybe selling my art and how to do it - i really enjoy embroidered things myself, so i would love to make my own stuff and sell it or just make stuff i enjoy :) I will defenetly look for cheaper or used models and maybe see if theres a group or a place that offers training or even rents out machines like they do with 3D printers and such :)
I've not heard of rented machines (yet), but maker spaces and some libraries have small embroidery machines available for people to use. Check out the dealers to see what used machines they have. Not only will you save a lot of money, but those machines are clean and serviced, plus they may provide a warranty and classes. Best of luck to you!
Is morning glory similar to the regular poly fil? I need to buy more stuffing and I don’t know what is best, the only one I have used it poly fil.
The morning glory is higher quality than the cheapest polyfil and similar to the more expensive polyfil (I think they call it crafters choice?). I like the morning glory and I'm currently using it from the 5 pound box that cost $15 at Hobby Lobby - so it's economical too.
@@BallyhooCreations thanks! I actually just ordered a five pound box of the morning glory stuffing yesterday from hobby lobby.
Informative! I love that you're cutting through the noise and offering unbiased information to help people find the perfect machine for their needs, not someone else's commission. As a beginner, I found this video very informative. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you thank you thank you! Btw I love your sewing room setup.
Oh thank you!
I use a wooden wine rack found at Goodwill for a few bucks to hold my rolls. I am intrigued by the pegboard and paper towel holders.
