So it was done like a front door, pull weather strips, mask threshold, prep, 2 coats, open door and run edges by hand. You can go to our page, and watch the video “TS Production Interior”. It’s the outside of a garage door, inside is already done, weather strips were removed. We didn’t do the outside because Rock guys were cutting all day, did it post inside. Ran edges by hand. Psi is the same as most sprayers @ 3300 psi. GPM is the same as a corded 390 @ 0.47… and battery life varies. It comes with 2 6Ah Flex batteries, and depending upon circumstance, hose length, tip size, gravity hopper, or syphon fed intake, batteries can last between 4-5 gallons. 9 Ah batteries are about 5-7 gallons, and it will also take 12Ah flex batteries.

No. It’s a moisture cure urethane, it dries too hard, and doesn’t have the elasticity required for wood. There’s coatings like porch & floor enamel for basic stuff like that. Versus Rexthane, Armorseal makes a product called Treadplex that would be compatible with wood. Sherwin also has some other products you can check into. But if you’re talking about resurfacing a subfloor, like a pourable epoxy… possibly, IDK.

Technically products like tile clad are designed to be in wet environments… like school block wall showers. If water is coming through the substrate receiving the epoxy, it would delaminate and fail, but if water is occasionally traversing over it, it would probably be ok. I’d recommend trying to fix the leak first.

We’ve switched from inline (which is most likely 30:1 ratio) to downstream which is 4:1. The inline injectors have a back flow stop valve, and they’re all problematic. Downstream with a 3/8” intake hose is so much more material. Effectively negating the need to purchase a $20k-$30k soft washing trailer. The only downside is you need to dedicate a 50’ hose with downstream hose taped on, and have a midway point and bucket your pulling from. So now… versus what we were doing in this video, injecting bleach, with mixing shock (to upscale the sodium hypochlorite levels) mixed with soap, which your creating a chemical reaction inline, but it’s effective with killing mold fast. Now we first shoot our soap with a soaper bottle, which is massively more then you see in this video, then shoot our sodium hypochlorite, tri sodium phosphate mixture etc. and it has its reaction on the substrate. We keep a direct drive washer @ 3000 psi & 2 GPM “I think”… and 2 belt driven pressure washers @ 4000 psi & 4GPM.

Pump Jacks. They were used on this job because it’s on the side of a cliff, and beyond 40’ ladder reach… and no, we don’t get recognition because we’re not selling duck shaped brushes, or pretending like we need to teach you something like Idaho Painter. Maybe one day I’ll be able to monetize on CZcams, but for now, we just make videos for our customers to see, and because video editing, and cinematography is a growing passion/hobby of mine. I’m gonna step it up a bit when the Avata 2 comes out, and be getting wild fps Ariel dangerous shots flying through tight spots, and vehicle chases etc. It’s just a passion, I like documenting what we do… you may not be able to get on instagram and click on a gay pair of pants were wearing, or click on some gimmick we’re using, and pull up a link to be able to purchase it, you may not be able to come to our paint school and be charged for a fake certificate offered to you by some Fruad… but you can call us, come in, and get paid to be fired your first day on the job 😂.

See I'm in California and the problem is there's to many dam illegal mexicans that do unlicensed work... We don’t do epoxy floors on the norm. Typically it’s in addition to an ongoing project… if we’re already doing an interior and/or exterior repaint, I may look at something and pass on it, I may rent a diamond grinder, but usually not. I’ll usually pass on the jobs that need diamond grinded, and we’ll only acid etch over unsealed concrete. But I guess unfortunately for you, it’s been 3 years, and this floor is still not failing. We’ll typically go tileclad epoxy, broadcast, and rexthane top coat. I have no intentions of getting a 3rd trailer for doing floors on top of all our equipment for architectural coatings, and 2 trailers and $100k in equipment. The only reason I keep this video up is because it amuses me it’s the only one that people comment on like they’re the boss 😂. But feel free to check out our channel and comment on our actual videos.

Rexthane doesn’t reduce with RK754, but it likes to spread thin so it doesn’t solvent bubble. It reduces with R2K5 (Aromatic 100) @ about 10-20%. This isn’t Tileclad buddy. But if you were using tileclad… it’s a 1:1 ratio, 30 minute sweat in, then about 10-15 % reduction, remix, and your potlife is gonna be about 3-4 hours.

No, cost would have been too high for mass production. If your looking for more GPM/Volume, I’d recommend a larger sprayer. We’ve got 2 of these (on top of large gas pumps, 695’s, 395’s etc.) 1 with a standard intake, and 50’ of 3/8” hose, and 1 with a 15’ hose and hopper. They have specific uses… for us, it’s the convenience of being cordless on occasion. A front door, a fence hundreds of feet away from power, out on pumpjacks etc. But I have put them through the ringer, painted full trim packages, full exteriors etc. and it does what a standard 390 does. However, if your gonna use it like that, you’d want to get a couple 9AH batteries and you’d have no down time if your wanting to constantly hold the trigger down. As apposed to handheld sprayers, this is the first actually legit cordless sprayer!

I’ve always just done plastic. I don’t know anything about the product your talking about, but I’ve tried paper once, and it just lets air in, or the paper absorbs it and it dries out. This is a more recent encapsulation, it was done by hand. czcams.com/video/UmtNLladjFw/video.html I’ve always found that using a ridiculous amount of stripper, and completely sealing from air, with either 3m film plastic, or 9-12’ rolls of 3m 0.7 mil painters plastic works the best. The key is as much product as possible. And “air tight” then 12 hours later you strip. This video we let the stripper dry out a little much, but it didn’t matter because we were pressure washing it off. In the video link I sent, we remove by hand… “but it’s exotic hardwood” so we’re working it by hand anyhow. So the best way to do that is to remove small sections as you work the product, and you can keep the rest of the unworked areas wet.

We make controlled environments if we’re spraying. Doesn’t matter the product. The only thing I’ve noticed I don’t like about scuff-x… is in dark base 4 colors… it’s hard as hell to get tape to stick if your in the cure window.

@@alfapainting2803 Seems like I've read that one of the Dolphins tapes works best on it. Do you thin or add any type of reducer to it?

No. I’m considering switching out of emerald urethane into scuffX as my trim enamel. It’s just so much silkier and tuffer. Most our trim packages are gonna be in a white base. I need to double check that tape sticks well to the white… I think it does.

A lot of walls in this house are rough sawn pine, x2 shellac sprayed and backrolled, x2 scuffX eg-shel on white, x3 on dark colors @FFLP 514. Trim is shellac x2 coats, 80 grit first sand, 150 grit second sand, emerald urethane semigloss x2 on lighter colors, scuff x semigloss x3 on dark colors @FFLP 310.
