I ask because My hackrf is a handheld type I purchased on Ali obviously it is a cheaper version of the same as of yet I have not figured out how or if I can connect it to my dragonOS running on windows.

Cool explanation. Do you have an idea how added a series capacitor between your T line and open circuit stub would affect the output? I notice that when i add a real capacitor with parasitics, the input impedance changes drastically. I believe it has something to do with the phase delay in the capacitor effects the stubs performance, but im not sure how to analyzer that.
