November of 2019 we set out on what we thought was a 1 year vacation from life in our self built truck camper with a goal of seeing all 50 states in 1 year. That plan quickly morphed as we learned of and emerged ourselves in the van life and bus life community. We instead decided to learn to be nomads long term. We now travel the country helping others achieve their nomadic goals by converting school busses, vans, and every other type of tiny home on wheels you can imagine.
With weekly Sunday updates we keep a daily log of our journey. Sometimes this means beautiful adventures and tons of awesome free camping spots. Other times this means step by step progression of whatever tiny home build we have emerged ourselves in. Its always raw, its always honest, and it's never boring.

Originally from Minnesota, id recommend you guys look into taking a course or two at Rapids Riders if you want to learn more about canoeing and/or kayaking. They also allow free camping onsite on fridays and saturdays. New sub here, thanks for sharing
Great advice! We like to learn things the hard way 😂 We’ve done a little kayaking, but that was both of our first time in a canoe
@@LoveHut4Life as long as you know the water you are on, being a rookie is fine. But the rivers can be treacherous really quick and having some professional guidance under your belt is a good thing

This was so awesome watching you guys visit my backyard. You did a great job showing the beauty of our state. I also make videos up here. It can be hard because the dispersed campsites can become overgrown and disappear quickly.

@shanecamp15 That happens often up here. I still work a regular Monday through Friday job, I record my videos on theweekend. Sometimes, I'll get off work Friday evening and drive around for 5 or 6 hours trying to find spots that no longer exist.one thing is for sure, nothing is a guarantee when it's comes to dispersed camping.

@@LoveHut4Life you’ll laugh at this one……. I camp 6 miles from my house. Short trips to work out the bugs in my build. The campground (Baker Park Reserve) is great spot, seems like you are in northern Minnesota. It’s a campground. But, it was really empty now that school started. Good amenities. Showers, bathrooms, dishwashing station, etc. I’m heading to northern Minnesota (or maybe South Dakota) in a few weeks for a week.

Love y’all and all your videos. I really enjoy your content. But that wind noise is crazy. They make wind filters you can order for just about every type of camera, and you can find them for less than $20.
Yeah… just imagine how bad it is in person 😂 I don’t want to make videos romanticizing the places we go… it’s the windiest place in America and we could barely hear each other talking most of the time we were there 😂 I want to remember that when I watch this in 20 years

You did… Our tiny best friend had a heart attack in my arms in Prescott Arizona this winter. She was the best friend a girl could ask for for almost 16 years and we both miss her every day. I’m grateful I was able to capture so much of her beautiful life on camera, and that you all were able to love her too.
