Ethel the Frog looks at the violence of British gangland.
I've been married for 35yrs so I get my daily argument's for free.
I'm pretty sure Ivory\Merchant would have made a movie about this had it not been for their love for the British Raj in India. 😐
"I'm charging you under Section 21 of the Strange Sketch Act" had me chuckling. It's almost as funny as the "argument" section.
I have this on a LP record which I still have today, listened to it for 40 years before actually seeing the video, absolutely brilliant
From brainy quarrelling to slapstick comedy, it’s just a shot away.
Arm, totally correct about the loony Krays
Brilliant spot on take on the Krays 😭😂😂🤣
For me this is the most enjoyable Monty Python sketch. I remember watching it as a youngster and utterly enthralled. 🦶
I wonder how much of this was scripted and how much was adlibbed?
Lol!! Born on prabation. 😅😅😅😅
They predicted Twitter 😂
Monty Python is half-funny.
I'm out the EastEnd & even *TODAY* I wouldn't have done this!
ICYDK "Ethel The Frog" is actually a parody of a real British public affairs show called This Week that aired on the Pythons previous employer Associated Rediffusion.
youtube is 19 years old. This video is 17 years old.
"Just saying no it isn't isn't an argument" ' Yes it is' " No it isn't!" 😅😂😂lol
No it isn't.
Love these special lyrics composed for the cartoon. My favorite verse from the original song: Johnny he reached for his Stetson/"O Lordy Frankie, don't shoot!"/Frankie pulled back her kimono/That gun went rooty toot toot/She shot her man...
The US Congress questioning the ATF director is way too similar to this.
“And a devout Catholic…” 😂
THIS "ETERNAL''--I CANNOT STOP LAUGHING !!-(YES YOU CAN)
Why the caned laughter
"Ethel the Frog: (Piranha Brother's)" is their best long skit. All the interviewees are very funny. Sanchez Panza was very funny. Biting the Heads of whippets. Nailing Coffee Tables to heads. He knows how to treat a female impersonator _All so funny_
silliness with an existential catastrophe for the punch line
Pure unadulterated silliness
Brilliant comedy
"...chains me to the back of the tank, and take me for a scrape around the Dinsdale's place"
I can't be blamed I was born in December 66, what luck.
“I came here for an argument!”
IIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
"Look you stupid bastard, you've got no arms left!" "Yes I have."
I get this when ever i contact any utility company or the bank. However, when ever i get a call from india its generally abuse.
1:40-3:53 Triss and Yenn fans whenever they meet each other
4:12 He sound like Waluigi
This is perfection. The language. The timing. Even the secondary character’s dialogue is spectacular.
Love this one. I am dead..
0:50 Graham Champman killed it here. "Shut your festering gob, you t*t!"
0:25 How is no one picking up this joke 'It's 1 pound for a 5-minute argument, but only 8 pounds for a course of 10'
I'm gonna start charging for arguements
OK, you're on. "That's not how you spell arguments!"
The very very end was the absolute best. 👌
This is 95% of all arguments on social media.
We used to have a cat named Eric. Then we discovered his grandmother was Danish, so he became Erik.
Laughter: medicine for the soul 😅.
when terry jones and graham chapman do the interview where he messes up the timing of the microphone is great
Special Flying Squad!
John cleese is so funny in drag ........
I needed a good laugh. Thanks
The idea of some strange goverment ministry somewhere, full of such peculiar departments amuses me almost as much as the actual content of this sketch.
The true Beatles of comedy!
Wait a minute, who was the last cop?
He was Inspector Moneyunderthetable of Scotland Yard.
