I AGREE ON THE PREPOSITION!!!

neg speaker one did kinda mid
Big regret! I blew off public speaking in college, but now in the corporate world, I see how crucial it is. This video is amazing! These young adults are so impressive - they express themselves with such intellectual professionalism. Makes me wish I'd taken it more seriously back then.
Bruh that’s so coool….. OMG Like my dream goal is to be on the Korea WSDC team;;; You guys are just so cool
Idk how I got here.. but arguing against the democratic right to secede is a tough place to be in
Do they like prepare there debates before hand or are they given a topic on spot?
on the spot, about an hour or so prior
@@aaravsridharan3594 woow that's sooo cool Where I'm from, we are given topic weeks prior and we basically have to learn it by heart
@@r1man26 yes. They give the topics weeks before the competitions in local and higher competitions. This is a national one. In the national debate competitions there is always a topic where you only have like 1 hour to prepare
@@user-bl9mh4pk6d so do they memorize it or do they just collect materials
Secede from what?

yapping contest
Debaters are just professional yappers
@@emilyunknown3651im a debater, thats the main point of debating. Its literally structurally yapping
This guy thinks he’s funny 😭 that’s the point of debating it’s yapping for fun

Congratulations, you found the whole point of debate
31:11 on fire
what's her @?
idk bro but if you find it send me
um wtf
from the sloppy motion of the guaranteeing the right to housing to a 12-1 win, congrats!
was this an impromptu or prepared round?
prepared
This is just a reading contest 😂
well they wrote it so its a writing contest too
1:07:18 -1:07:38 that was so good, you found a way to almost flat out insult their argument in round and come out not sounding like a total jerk.
I have a question Do they prepare there debate material before hand or are they given topic on spot
@@r1man26 This is prepared. There are impromptu debates, but they are not given access to the internet.
how the f did i get here
I know
watching high is insane
Same
Can you put what the debate is about in the title?
it's in the description
31:05 ZAMNNN ate that up
Watched this in-person, y’all all ate 😭😭
Im sorry but, *y’all all ate* ??? 😭😭✋
Yall all
I look up to the Los Angeles Violet team so much! I do speech and I'm scared of debate but this video has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone :)
Since when did final round have a whole 6min thank you speech thing LOL
Yeah I feel like that’s unfair to the affirmative because the other people on the neg team get all the extra time to prep that it takes for the thank yous to go
Great debate guys, loved the framing & the arguments from both sides! Well deserved btw.
sensational
What a chill round, the opposite to policy final
Me when Alex Lee makes a joke about the motion: 😍
❤❤❤
"secession is not an act of rebellion" is the new "the global poor all around the world"
Our biggest fan 🥲
I got to watch this round in person and y'all killed it!!!!!!!!! Deserved win!!!!
Thank you so much!
@@alexlee8353great win.i even watched yall blog
