First I’d like to say great book Mrs. Nay … I’m an avid reader … really avid for great stories and authors … and I found your book yesterday and bought it … I’ve read it in a day and a half … I’m finished now but I have to say you’ve left me stumped .. in the book … The Offing … there’s 2 male bodies … one is headless and handless … that’s what Blake did to Thatcher so there would be no way for identification … finger prints … dentistry … or identification by face … ok I get all that … but who is the second body ?? … the dark haired corpse the police have ?? … it’s not Thatcher … and I’m stumped going back and rereading passages … what am I missing ?? … who is it ??

I ID'd the 1st AI poem even before Mari finished reading the first line, and I knew her poem was human the instant I heard "edible pebbles." I tinker with ChatGPT 3.5 and, while I find it fascinating, a poet it is not (yet). I'm a professional songwriter and ChatGPT is *_leagues_* away from excellent songsmithing. It's fascinating, but dumb.

Great interview. I recently found all your interviews and loving all the tips and tricks, due to I recently moved from writing romance to mystery. The one thing I struggle with is finding the balance between the mystery and the romance. Would love to see more interviews with authors who know how to balance this issue.
