0:38 - Acadians DID NOTt emigrate to Louisiana. In 1755, began a DEPORTATION ORCHESTRATED by the English governors of the time which would last untill 1763. Approximately 10,000 of the 13,000 Acadians present in south west actual Nova Scotia were embarqued on ships and deported: some back to France, some in English prisons, some in the New England States of the US, some in Louisiana, some in Martinique and some even as far as the Falkland Islands east of Argentina. Many others fled north to the then territory of Quebec which was a French possession at the time. My Ancestor the LEBLANC were in that group; they managed to steal 3 ships from the English and headed north. THey were pursued by teh English fleet and ran aground at the west end of the Bay of Chaleurs. They set fire to the ships rather than giving them back.

I performed 4'33" in a field of Cicada's, in the shade of a White Pine tree while sitting on my Omeo on May 30th, 2024. I used Cage's 1952, original three movement arrangement of 30 seconds, two minutes and 23 seconds, and one minute and 40 seconds. I didn't have the sheet music with me.
