Nice built ins and not a bad color actually. I’ve not had much luck teaching myself how to spray. Wish there was like a class or something I could take.
🤣🤣 invest in a microfibre rad roller!! Spraying is not for you!!
😂😂 thanks for the tips bud. I’ll take it under consideration. If you’re familiar with this paint… its self leveling so what looks to be orange peel actually levels out to be smooth
I really like the color. Were you able to connect to a gallon or did you have to use the quart container that comes with the sprayer? If so, that is a lot of time filling up!
Haha have to keep filling up the quart container. It’s not too too bad. I do wish it had a larger container
Exellent product. How to purchase and how much costs
That's actually brilliant. I've had this problem more than once. Perfect solution, can't believe I've never thought of, or tried it.
Обзол у дуба я вирізаю у дрова.
I got mine last week. I loved it. But today, my third time using it, it failed. I can’t get it to work again. Not sure what’s going on. I did do a little research on the ground cable. It’s for solvents
Yup, ground cable is for solvents. So when you pull the trigger, nothing happens at all? And the battery is charged? That sounds like a faulty gun. If you got it from a sherwin Williams I would call them and see if there’s a local place that works on them
Hope you didn't screw those down, top didn't line up. C'mon dude...
Haha this was only for the video. Was trying to record and tighten it at the same time! I adjusted it before I screwed it together!
Yeah that only works one way D.A.!!!!!
Actually it doesn’t. The fence also goes flat so you can do flat work and the fence also swings the other way!!
Did you water the paint or straight out of the can?
Straight out of the can!
QUIERO COMPRAR UNA PERO NO ESTOY SEGURO
I love it

Very interesting. I have seen some serious effects from the isocyanate hardeners.I use a fresh air supply system when using them. Thanks for your input.
Beautiful work!
Thank you!
“How to”? What is wrong with you?
В начале правильно делал... Но кажись деревяшки придётся подпилить
I ended up taking the wood trim off and putting a thin metal trim on the edge of the plywood instead
I use my big 12" swanson and a stair gauge
Smart Square just released a 12”, I’m hoping to pick one up and get rid of my 12” Swanson
What would be your go-to BM paint for cabinets? Most colors i see are BM
I haven’t used Benjamin Moore in 7-8ish years so I’m not sure. I used Sherwin Williams emerald with urethane for many years before recently switching to the gallery series and love it. For the colors, if you have the paint color name and paint code, Sherwin Williams can match the color pretty close if not 100%. I’m actually about to spray a BM color next week
@@DullenWoodworkingSW can barely match their own colors. Especially in Gallery.
Those look nice and I love that countertop. I’ve had such crappy luck trying to spray paint. Wish I could find someone to teach me.
There’s so many variables, depends on what you’re sprayer, your sprayer, primer and paint. I’m priming and painting raw wood. I sand it with 150 grit, spray sherwin Williams premium wall and wood primer (the tip size needs to work with the primer, this is a little thicker so it needs to be a little bigger. After the primer dries I sand the primer with 320 grit with my festool and try to make it like glass, super smooth. Then spray 2 thin coats of Sherwin Williams gallery series paint. This needs to be applied thin because the paint itself is super thin. If you’re spraying something vertical, it’s going to run if you put even a little too much paint on. So it has to be 2 thin coats. Even something flat, if it’s too thick I’ve noticed in corners it bubbles a little bit. Also when spraying gallery I use a fine finish 210 tip. This is all based off of using the Graco Quickshot
What color is this paint? It looks awesomeness!
dude: take a second and READ. It's in the title, which says "Graco Quickshot spraying SW: Andiron". It's really not hard to figure out, is it?
Bonjour, beau travail !! Quelle taille de buse utilisez vous?
I use the fine finish 210 tip spraying Sherwin Williams Gallery Series
Great video and great find. Will be buying one of these once I figure out my logo.
Thank you!
Nice looking kitchen. I like the countertop, backsplash and the floor.
Thank you!
Wish I could learn how to spray paint. I’ve tried teaching myself but things haven’t gone quite so well 🤔😳.
What spray gun are you using?
Only sand to 150? Sounds pretty course. How did it turn out.
Turns out great! Lightly scuff with a worn piece of 150 grit to knock down some of the rough spots and give the next layer something to bond to
What pressure u use
Typically I spray around a 5
How's the overspray with this unit?
It depends on the tip. I spray sherwin Williams gallery which is a thinner paint and I use a 210. The overspray isn’t too bad
I love mine you can use the DeWalt 20 v battery it's compatible
Nice, works on my 2017. Thank you
You’re welcome!
I have a question about the sequencing you guys did- just so I have it correct: We have oak boxes + doors and we are curious if the sequencing should be: Sand 320g, 1x Primer, and 3x Paint? Also you recommend along with the manufacturer guidelines to spray the wood but is it at all out of bounds to paint with a high quality sponge roller? Thank you!
Oak is going to be difficult because the grain but if this is a refinish and there’s a lacquer in them I would recommend sanding them a bit with 150 grit, apply sherwin williams extreme bond primer, sand the primer really good with 320 grid till it’s very smooth, then spray 2 coats of gallery. The issue with brushing and rolling is the speed in which gallery dries. It’s only recommended you spray it but you could try rolling it. I’d the boxes are raw wood. I would do the same order except use sherwin Williams premium wall and wood primer instead
Doesn't seem like a comparison. Why didn't you spray the Hi Build to compare?
What was the remedy?
Ended up getting some hydronic cement and packing it around the pipe and it stopped the leak

Hey mate just wanted to give you some advice I learned from another channel. Use some degreaser with your cleaning and it’ll knock out half the time and water youre using. Cheers
Degreaser? Like mineral spirits?
uumm
Water base or 2k paint?
Water base. This is Sherwin’s Williams emerald with urethane. I’ve switched to sherwin Williams gallery series since it came out
Well be honest fbish look like 2k paint I will get this week same machine u using it long time I see would u recommend it I am currently using in workshop air compressor setup with hvlp gun but I see airless technologies its covering more quick when u see this result I am saying my self we spending time for nothing what is your review about the graco ?
Oh yea one more thing there's no wheels on the bottom of the ladder. It's just going to scratch the floor if its a rolling ladder
I am pretty sure Diaz construction designed this.
There are no words for the stupidity of some people. There is at least a half a dozen things wrong with this idea
This was designed and made by me to fit exactly what the customer wanted and the space we had to do it. What are these “half a dozen” things wrong that you see? Haha
@DullenWoodworking If it is what the owner wants smile and take their money. However, the ladder makes it difficult to access any other shelf. The ladder will impede the door opening all the way. It is generally an eyesore, and it is bulky and ridiculous. If you can't reach the top shelf. Get a step stool. I'm sure you could have made a nice one about that. And yes i've been in the skilled trades for forty five years
It’s exactly what the customer wanted and they love it. You’re right, they didn’t need the ladder but that’s the look they wanted, I wished I had enough room to make it wide enough to roll the ladder more. I specifically made the ladder on the steeper side so the door will open 90 degrees. I had wheels to put on the bottom but since it doesn’t necessarily have to move we didn’t put them on and instead put thick soft felt pads on the bottom so it didn’t scratch the floor and you can still move it side to side if you really want to. Bulky and ridiculous? I guess that’s just your point of view because this is exactly what they wanted and love it. It’s not for everyone I guess. I’m sure there’s project you’ve done that i would look at and think is unnecessary or “ridiculous” but at the end of the day the goal is to make what the customer wants and to do it with fine craftsmanship. That ladder took me like a week to make. The sides are 1 1/4” thick and each tread is 1” thick and mortised Into the sides, glued and screwed together with plugs.
Isn't that door going to open right into the ladder?
The door opens 90 degrees. That’s why the ladder is a little on the steep side so that the door can open as much as possible
Love the color! What paint do you use and what's the name of the color ? Also, i see you use the quickshot. Is it a good experience and worth the money? (For homeuse) great work btw 🫡
Thanks! I use sherwin williams gallery series paint and the color is Evergreen Fog! I actually have a few videos of the quickshot! You should check them out but I’ve had it and used it for a little over a year and I love it! It’s definitely worth it!
Thank you for the great review!👍
As someone who is new to painting cabinets, what spray tips/set-up would you recommend? I have purchased a HVLP sprayer. I was thinking about picking up the new little quick shot sprayer, as well. Do you have a strong recommendation to either? I'm thinking of trying out the new gallery paint. I saw it at the pro show this year.
I would highly recommend the quickshot. I don’t have a lot of experience spraying paint with an HVLP but tip size for the quickshot I would recommend a 210 for doors and wider stuff. I also spray on setting 5 with the spraying gallery. If you’re spraying super narrow stuff I would recommend a 110 tip which just narrows your spray area, still the same amount of paint coming out just less overspray and waste
Where’s the “review”. ????
Turn up the pressure a bit, use a ff tip,a 308 or 408 fine finish/ff
308 mejor
Why not actually use the parking brake?
Appreciate your video. Amazon has them for $239.00. Not bad since HD has them for over $300.00 bucks. I'll have to order one. Thanks again.
That’s a great deal! These are solid belt sanders
@@DullenWoodworking you convinced me. I ordered it on Amazon. Should arrive on Tuesday. I appreciate it.
A few comments if that is okay. Take a scrape sheet of plywood that you know is out of square, and cut all four corners the same length. For example a 2 foot square. 24 inches all the way around. The measurements from one corner to the opposite corner should be exactly the same length on each corner to corner. Yeah the TSO squares are pretty darn expensive, but their motto "Born square" is there for a reason. Also the TSO squares allow you to attach some pretty nifty rail guides. If you plan on doing a bit of repetitive cuts that have to be dead accurate, TSO is the way to go. Good review.
I’ve never seen the TSO ones! They look great, I might have to pick one of those up and compare!
