Unreal 5 - Stylized Mountain Village
This scene was my final project during my last semester of university. It's my biggest project so far and served to get me more familiar with Unreal 5. I hope you like it. The whole project was made from scratch. All assets and textures were created by me. Everything is rendered in real time inside the engine.

Happy 2nd Birthday My Friend Pedro! ^^ First ever sub 1 hour run of My Friend Pedro and my first ever Any% World Record in any game. The run starts once the difficulty is selected and ends when the last level is completed. The final time is taken from the in game timer in the upper left corner since there's a bug with Livesplit, where it keeps adding time in loading screens after Sewers 2. Down...

Game Modifiers - 0:00 Tutorials - 0:08 Start of the run - 2:32 The in-game timer in the upper left corner is used as the primary timing method. Happened during an Any% run, so ignore the first 3 tutorial levels, they're not part of the category. The run died just 3 levels later unfortunately.

how do you bunnyhop?
You want to jump as many times as possible, therefore the tiniest jump is the most optimal. The way to reach the fastest speeds is to smash your jump button as fast as possible. This can potentially give you incredible speedboosts but it's very rare and hard to do. If you don't want to destroy your arm for a speedrun then the next best strat is trying to time your jumps. This doesn't need extremely fast presses but it's pretty precise and will never let you reach the insane speeds of spamming. Can't really tell you the exact timing, just try stuff out until you get consistent hops. It takes time, so don't be too hard an yourself and keep grinding. Pedros World 2 has a giant flat area at the start which is great for practicing bhopping. Maybe don't start with Any%, but with a run of one of the 5 worlds or some individual levels .

How did you damage Mitch at the end? Did he take damage from the explosives you blew up.?
Yeah, it's a bug where you can damage him with his own explosives. It's a bit easier in the 2nd cycle when he throws 5
What skip lost you the most runs?
Basically all skips in Pedros World 1, but especially the one at 25:45. With most skips it's not to dramatic if you don't hit them, cause it's easy to recover quickly. I also reset every time I don't get the ones at 2:47 and 3:55, cause I don't want them missing from my runs
