Hi Mike, Please read my comment.. I just saw you when I finding videos on my one n only watch I’m a huge fan of Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm. I’m 17 years old and can’t afford this watch but I love this watch since 2017. When I see it first time on CZcams. I’ve request for you if you like then please sell me your 1 Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical in less price I love this watch but can’t afford it.. If you don’t like this comment I apologise.. Thank you
That sieko looks way better then tudor...I got the same wach and it feels better everyday great size looks good good weight. Value for money 💯 ... I paid $480 brand new but ordinary price is $699 in Sweden
I am about to sell mine and I'm making the mistake of watching your videos which makes me not want to sell it! Truth is I already have the original GV in the collection and the clear glass version was just an impulsive pick up but still...! 😅
@@AnaInTh3Sky I had the white dial milgauss and sold it several years ago. Something is different with this model, the cost doesn’t bother me, it really could be a one and done.
@@inlandwatchreviews5745 I agree... that's part of my current paranoia. I love my GV but it does scream a bit... this non-GV version is just so under the radar! If you allow me a suggestion: try wearing it on a dark green/military canvas strap. It's beyond cool and the ultimate stealth Rolex. Nobody ever knows what it is!
Black bay 41 ? It's the BLACK BAY58 in 39 mm. No ?
This is now my favourite watch channel on CZcams , such great content and done superbly, well done sir and I got my favourite watch at amzwatch, it hasn’t left my wrist for weeks
Unfortunately I fear you are correct about our rights being eroded. Sad to see what governments are doing to the West.
last year 3300 people in the UK were arrested for social media statements, 400 were arrested in Russia and 176 arrested in Iran. what is going on .
Absolutely freedom of speech is under attack. And the excuse is saying it’s hate speech. Telling the truth sounds like hate speech, to people that hate the truth.
Thank you my American friend. Britain was governed by a general consensus that her institutions would always be in the possession of pragmatism and common decency. However, those very same institutions have now been usurped by an anti-British woke dogma that is overtly aggressive towards the heritage and hopes of their own society. God help us.
The USA is not immune from this problem even though we have a bill of rights. People are saying that hate speech is not covered. Who determines what is acceptable and what if that changes.
Is it an awesome watch? Yes. However, the owner has a rather 'interesting' history in that he (supposedly) manufactured fake rolex watches. I had a deposit on a Silent Service at one point, but ended up getting a refund as I'd rather support a company who was not associated with making replicas.
I love videos with closeup shots of Watches, specially these beautiful Padi. I own one of them! Thank you for sharing!
I think a beautiful watch, well made, is what counts. If you can get one for $2000 that is as good as one that costs $10,000- it’s a no brainer!
Beautiful watch. I'm seriously thinking about getting a Shades 38 mm one soon, undecided between blue and sandstone.
No green sapphire? Ouch
I have grown to like this watch. I was always a Datejust guy. Also like the Air-King. I would get this polished but that’s just me. Looked like a lot of scratches there. But of course cost is a factor. But I think I would prefer my own signs of wear.
Those Milgauss watches look like a very fine watch in person. Rolex build quality and materials really feel and look the part. Nice watch. I dont think you can go wrong with most any Rolex.
@@mik3ymomo I think you are right.
amzwatch has set a new standard for replica watches. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. Its hard to tell the difference from the originals
Nice watch , personally I’d have gone with the omega rail master 15 times better guss protection at 15k over the milguss 1k
@@mikemorgan-swinhoe7932 the Milgauss really is more than a 1000 gauss. Silicone hair spring and the internal faraday cage it’s really a 15 Milgauss.
I am going to try this carnivore diet. I would like to lose a few extra pounds.
Nope I’m not waiting for a Sub. I’m going to buy a Ginault, end of story! No waiting, no miss , No fuzz. Rolex loses, don’t have time to play games! Matt
I think you need a light. Also, great watch.
@@stevem863 I think you’re right
Everyone knows that a lot of listings are duplicates or placeholders for sellers who don't actually have the watch. It's supply and demand. There are plenty of GMTs available if you are willing to pat $20K. but not many available at retail prices.
What do you think, should I take this watch to my Local Rolex AD and have it polished ,or leave it alone. the Rolex 904L steel is resistance to corrosion but it scratches . should I have the scratches polished out.
I bought this popular video watch from amzwatch , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
I just yesterday got my SLA047J1 MM300. It’s an incredible Seiko diver with the 8L35 movement.
I like 3 hand watches as well. This seems to be a perfect watch for you. Congratulations
@@dylanclinkenbeard3216 thank you I agree
Hope you got a great deal on the lease desirable Milguass.
I think the Milgauss will be regarded as a classic because of its divisive design.
JUst not worth it
Great review! I’m very interested in the Hydronaut and came across your video. Can I ask your reasoning for selling your first Hydronaut with the black dial? I prefer the dial with rectangular indices but want to make sure there are no issues with it before I take the plunge. Thanks. 😁
I should have kept the hydronaut, after I had it serviced it was in great shape. For the cost you can’t beat a hydronaut 89190, triple lock Rolex crown for around 2.5 thousand dollars. Rolex quality for a better price.
Thank you. Looking to purchase mine in the next few days. 😁
Hello again. I’m becoming a bit obsessive over this watch which is not a good sign. 😂 My watch is ready for collection and it’s exactly the same dial configuration as the one you have featured in this video. Can I ask if you prefer this dial or the baton handed dial that you had previously, and the reasons for your preference having owned both? Thanks again in advance. 👌🏽
@@Thewatchera1 I like the black dial with the rectangular indices a little better . Both watches have the ETA 2824-2 movement which is easily serviceable. The blue dial has Tiger for Tiger Woods , interesting piece of history.
@@inlandwatchreviews5745Thanks for that feedback. I’d forgotten about the “tiger” on your dial. Mine says “Hydronaut”. although everything else is the same. I also prefer the rectangular indices variant but I’ve found it difficult to find these in good condition with box and papers, so I’ll settle for this dial although I do still find the overall package extremely attractive and a great piece of history. It’s probably my favourite dive watch of all time along with the “Peter Blake”Seamaster (Which I love although I don’t think it suits my wrist). 👍🏽
I just argued this with a Rolex dealer, for buying a sub for 10 grand. It’s definitely not. I’m ordering a Ginault from John. Fantastic piece for the money. I agree with you sir, great video.👍✌️
Sure... Rolex is available in spades on Chrono 24.... now try and buy those watches from an AD. We all know the answer.
Yea that just chrono, there are about 12 other sites with these not to mention the Rolex CPO and the hundreds of grey dealers selling used watches. Rolex is a joke
Do you know how many new millionaires are created every year in the world? Do you think they buy one or two each when they become a millionaire? Do your due diligence with an AD IMO. Get a 100% genuine new watch with no mystery history and a five year warranty for list or possibly a slight discount. That Milgauss was a walk in at discount if you purchased from new I imagine ; )
This is my impression, once upon a time Rolex was available to the common man to be able to purchase, it may cost him a substantial portion of his paycheck but was attainable. Today its like a cost of a used car or worse more than a new car. I think the waiting list and availability to the dealers is a way of either controlling the price or creating an artificial scarcity causing additional premiums to the customer. If the impression to the customer that these are scarce and exclusive, they're more willing to fork out more $$$$. Myself, I could care less about Rolex, I love watches but I'm not in the exclusive club.
If it was 2005 when I bought my sub at an AD no wait, no history and got a discount then go AD. Today is a different monster and depending on where you live 2 years you would be lucky. Life is short and you are not guaranteed tomorrow. Grey is the way I would go and not play those AD reindeer games. Plus, the premium on a grey would still be cheaper. You may have to buy another watch or piece of jewelry before you’re even considered to be on the official list. Food for thought.
Nobody has to buy jewellery lol, but why would you not have previously bought a watch/been a customer of the store? I agree go grey if you have to and are happy its real though. People do it all the time with concert tickets and game consoles etc. Heck, they even brag about it 😂
@@wristopia4101 I won’t name the ADs but I have a few folks I know who are on the list some even 5 years and still no call. The ones that got a call spent some on a watch the AD was trying to get rid of and got the call. By the end of it he spent more than he would have if he just went grey. The other that got the call bought an engagement ring and he got the call a month after his wedding. I guess better later than ever. lol!!
Great watch! Wear what you like and screw everybody else who disagrees. It’s your wrist is what I say.
Congrats man. Love my green glass black dial. Such a good watch.
@@douglaskrueger357 I agree with you, simple watch and beautiful.
Rolex makes 1.2m watches every year. There is no “shortage.” It’s just people who are hoarding due to the current trend. Once they realize it’s idiotic to have your capital tied up in watches, they’ll dump onto the secondary market and prices will normalize.
@@IamnotJokic I hope you’re right. People are using watches as a comity and hoarding them.
@@inlandwatchreviews5745 Rolex is also building additional factories to meet the demand. I suspect that they’ll overmanufacture their watches once their factories ramp up.
Pricing is all about supply and demand, the supply of used or secondary market watches are building so those will drop further in price. I will wait actually forget about it, I’ll go buy a Tudor for about $2000 to $3000 usd.❤. Good video ! 😊
Lovely watch that
Actually you’re wrong. You have to use the filter. Not everything listed on Chrono24 is available and for sale. Filter by availability and condition. There are only 24,400 currently available world wide. If you are going to filter by location the number is going to be even lower. Currently 13,000 in USA. Yes there are some other platforms, but number is still much lower.
@@cookingwithwatches thank you I will take a look at this.
Still a lot for an “exclusive” brand not available at AD’s!!! 😂
@@jfalconc 24k world wide is a lot? 🤔 Now break it down by the model, then by metal. What’s left? Not much will be left.
Beautiful watch!
Waiting Green OP for 3 years then finally I bought something else, not Rolex 😉 Congratz for the Milgauss
@@Cravenfr thank you
This model was discontinued in 2013. I bought this on Chrono24 from an attorney. Rolex is built to last for a century.
Great watch man !
Are those available originals or super fakes?
original of course
Lol. I'm also retired and said to myself no more watch purchases but now you got me thinking about moving forward with a 5513 search which I always wanted to add to my collection. I own a 1991 14060 which is the successor to the 5513 but there is something sexy about a plexi glass 5513.
After buying and selling several Rolex Watches, this Milgauss is nice simple and boring, all the things that make me love it. The Ginault Ocean Rover reminds me of the 5517 Mil-Sub. I did find a Mil sub but at $144,000 I will pass on this.
Your analysis is grounded in common sense.
Congratulations on the Milguass. My favorite Rolex.
Thank you I see the simplicity of a three handed watch.
