Boss GX-100 personal experience, on the video you don’t get the feel of the pedal but it’s a great pedal. Size, price and interface is a nice fit for anyone. Hopefully the GT-1000 goes this direction, speaking of the interface of the GX-100 combined the power and size of the GT-1000.

I can barely get two hours out of these things!
Make sure they are fully charged, put them in the case and start the charge. Both units should light up and then close the case. Mine last 4 hrs, and I’ve had them for over a year now.
My favorite guitar right now is an AIO strat with SD hot rail in bridge and SD antiquity hot in mid and neck. It has a Wilkinson trem that works fine. These are selling for around 450 to 500 new. Baked maple neck and ebony with excellent fretwork. This guitar can do it all.
AIO guitars look really nice.
It for sure looks legit but now after hearing a real player say it's worth it I think I'm sold. Thanks bro

thanks for your info, very good review, you might have helped me solve my high gain/ back feed problem with turning down the input settings.
You were saying no xlr out, I have the fender frfr10 and it has a xlr out to go front of house. Just saying what's out there.
I have had mine for about a year and a half. It is a phenomenal pedal worth twice as much as it costs. I copy and paste the same patch across the entire bank. That way, the 1-4 buttons act like "scenes." Then, with a single press of a button I can turn on or off several effects without any "gap" in the signal. Feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them for you.
Yea, it’s a great pedal. Boss is really stepping up their game.
How do you copy/ paste patches?
I just got mine and am attempting the same idea.
@d.j.linhart935 whatever patch you want to copy, hit save twice, then your first knob under the screen scroll to whatever number you want to save the patch to.

Sounds terrible. There is a white noise that sounds like you are standing on the ocean with distant waves washing ashore. Seriously, they screwed up here. The sound also breaks up. This could have been a game changer but totally dropped the ball. There many other Amazon reviews with the same complaints.
What are you running it through?
@@peted450 Through the 1/8” output of the Microtubes x ultra pedal. Sent the NUX back for bad sound quality.
@@lumurumba when I first tried this unit I ran it thru my headphone output on my fender amp to test it, and it was noisy. I lowered the volume on the unit itself and it helped a little, but this isn’t how I intended to use it. When I connected it to the P-16 at church it was quiet, another musician uses it too and loves it also. If you still have the NUX try running it out of the mixer, or a personal monitor, like Axiom or P-16. Directly out of pedals or amps seems to exaggerate noise, almost like high gain distortion pedals. Hope that helps.

Hi! My c2 button switches to pedalboard mode when held for a long time. In tuner mode with a short press. You have it the other way around. Where are the settings of this button. I want the pedalboard mode to turn on with a short press of the c2 button, just like it works for you.
Hello, ok this is how… Pick channel you to make change, I do this to all my channels First: select CTL/EXP Next: select CONTROL FUNCTION under CTL 2( or wherever your tuner is) should be knob number 4 and rotate so it reads MAN/TUNER not TUNER/MAN. Exit it out and you should be all set.

Hello, I use CHO not CHO PRIM TYPE MONO RATE 50 DEPTH 45 EFFECT LEVEL 85 PRE-DELAY 6.0 ms WAVEFORM TRI LOW CUT 200Hz HIGH CUT 3.15Hz DIRECT LEVEL 100 BPM 85 I have this set up with my amp settings so it might sound different in combination with your amplifier you have selected. Let me know if it works.

Hi, nice video, one question: does the GX 100 have the guitarsimulator from the gt10 where you can set humbucker to singlecoil? Could not find anything about that

Why don’t you simply put a noise gate infront of the amp on OD channel. I finally got the tone figured on mine after a year of going back and forth my analog rig. The global eq is what helps with the mix when playing live and finally got this figured out now.
I try to avoid noise gates, because I tend to play quiet passages at times. I don’t want it kicking in while I play, but the noise I experience is not an issue when playing live. It is a good idea for my high gain side, same as a real amp.
@@peted450if you put the gate on threshold 30 and release 30, it doesn't effect the quiet passages but it stops the extra noise. You just have to adjust it so it works like you want. It would clean up your sound a lot.

Hey, thank you, I’m not a fan of noise suppression, especially for medium gain sounds. My office tends to be a little noisier even when using my independent pedals into my amp. Live there is very noise, but you could use a noise suppressor. But, you make a good point, I could set that up for my high gain stuff.
The noise supressor built into the GX100 works well... I put it after the amp and it cleans up use of the OD1 or tube screamer really nicely. Worth experimenting with at least.

Hey pete, I’m planning to get this for the p-16 too. My concern is if it sucks tone or does it colour our tones?
Hi Stephen, no, there is no tone loss. Essentially it’s equal to having headphones plugged directly into the P-16. What will affect your tone is the type of headphones. Your settings on the P-16 is important also, use the Mid and Frequency in tandem to change your tone.

Hi David, the sound quality is very good. It’s equal to having wired headphones plugged directly. It has plenty volume, currently I connect it to the Behringer P16. Another bandmate just bought it for himself and he loves it. I haven’t experienced any issues with the two of us using them together, they can run up to 10 at the same time.
