That exhaust gives me 'The Horn'. If I had the cash and the space I'd buy the pipe then find a CB1100 to put it on. Cast wheels model and not give a hoot if it has to lose the centre stand. In my dream world Yoshimura would make a similar exhaust for the late model XJR1300 but I expect that is just a pipe dream. (see what I did there?)

Not near as throaty as I would want. But better an we all know a Honda runs better with a Header pipe !

How would this work with the hero 9. Would it still need to be static item or can it be a moving item?

I took my commander 800 through similar depth of water and it was defiantly smoking the belt But the commander goes I've put it through hell and very little problems

A 1978 500 has disc brakes front and back, a noticeable difference is a 500 has a 19 inch front wheel compared to the 18 inch front wheel on the newer 400's

I WISH it were that easy Brian. It's taking me 3-4 kicks to get it going. No choke to be seen. I've found that it works best to do like you did: open the throttle as I kick. Open-only doesn't work, Closed-only doesn't work, just moving it to open seems to work. I tried pre-"feeding", "dead" kicks (ignition off) to see if that put fuel in -- didn't help. Still 3 to 5 kicks. Any advise or tricks? I didn't know how much difference there was between a 2-cylinder 400cc and a single-cylinder 400cc. If I had I might have had second thoughts about getting this beautiful kick-starter.

I have the 2013 Spyder ST model with the Cat Delete. The performance improvement on the bike is dramatic. It runs much cooler and it is much faster. Those are the PROS. CONS, the exhaust fumes are significant and have not figured out what to do to improve that. Any ideas? I still have the original exhaust. not sure if changing to the Akrapovic slip-on or two-brothers, etc would make any difference.
