I grew up there. It is only now that I look at it that I see what an old decrepit looking shole it actually is. The memories were kinder.

My mum use to take me there at Deaf clinc (not surely exact name), we use to go Cappia ice cream and there when I started Youth Training Scheme (YTS), I remember also Bus Station when phone keeps ringing non stop. Now, it's all charge there. A lovely wee town with so much choice.

@Nykee23 No problem I tried to find the relevant points, always hard though as you think after you've done it oh I missed that. No major points are missed, and full features lists are on Apple's site as you may have seen. Shame that o2 is ripping me off for iPhone 4 in the UK, gonna have to move network. the total wingspan is 212 feet and 7 inches

Editted it from the 1080p source video down to 720p, then after that got an Emirates logo from google, cut out the background and made it transparent, then put the logo as a layer on top of the video in Vegas 8, the copyright at the bottom right aswell is just a layer of text at the top and the video is the furthest layer back. Hope this helps! going to Glasgow this Friday so I'd look out for a new HD upload including the Emirates 777-300ER landing.

It's still getting processed check back in a few hours once CZcams is done. It is 1080p edited to 720p with Vegas Pro. but yeah you are correct at this time it's not HD, but soon will be. My first time filming , so a little shaky , but next time will be better :)

I was unaware of the important of Muir Street what apart from the Town hall car park, and museum are worth filming? What exactly is worth filming that old building that's falling apart, ie now called Trinity High that you mention as Holy Cross, as for the "New Holy Cross" you can't even film that building unless you go inside their grounds, not an option.

On holiday at the moment so would not be able to.

Dunno why I took so long to reply to your comment but this road is recorded on the perimeter road, you start off at Abbotsinch Road and travel along towards a river, but I filmed it at the fence just short of the river called Black Cart Water.

There's always one who goes by the book, Afew years ago i went to amsterdam & i was taking pictures on the rooftop viewing area, security came to me & asked why i was taking pictures & i also happened to get caught at the crossing at LHR where the aircraft cross from the maintenance hangars back to the airport, 4 police officers got out with automatic weapons & that scared the shit out of me. nowadays you gotta be extra careful when your photographing / filming aircraft

Exactly but I parked my car nearby in an unobtrusive position, yet they still moved me even though they see this camera and the fact I'm filming, what can you do though really, sad day when you can't even film, thing is it was one of those 1 in 100 workers who come along and do their job 100% correcrt, the other 99 police cars would have drove on, and infact four police cars/vans drove past before this one stopped. It's just pathetic on his part- as you say sad prick with nothing better to do.

I've been stopped by the police when i was spotting at EGAA, You'd think they'd have better things to do than stop someone watching aircraft takeoff & land at an airport, I know Glasgow has increased its security after what happened & thats understandable, but i think if you can give the police a reasonable excuse for photographing / filming aircraft then they should leave you to do so

I stood at in parallel to the end of Runway 23, well the last exit for an aircraft, which is Taxiway alpha, its literally 40 yards away the taxiway, so real close when the Emirates exited the runway, as you can see on the video the closeness. Thats the 3 places I film from anyway at Glasgow.They also get a 747 sometimes, but the 777-300ER is better to watch.

Yeah very good airline. Aircraft fleet best in the World, and with about 230 firm orders, there is more to come. I plan to fly on the A380 to New York, partly because of New York, but also because of the A380, been before but that was on the 777-300ER. As for Glasgow you can either spot at an area just next to the Approach Lighting System, at the NE end of the airport, ie its the end where you can film planes landing on 23. Also you can stand and watch them landing on 05.

Hey thanks man I'd appreciate your rating out of 5 stars. I fly a few times a year to visit Dubai, Emirates is the World's best, there is no doubt, why fly in a 15 year old 767 on rival's airlines, or fly in the comfort of an aircraft that is usually newer than your own car. Brilliant service.

It was about £550 , very good camera, no complaints. Working at the moment on uploading a new video taken at Glasgow yesterday , and also a video showing lots of areas of Hamilton..
