Looking back, yeah this show had it's problems, it wasn't the sequel to Prime that we wanted or that was arguably deserved. But honestly I feel like it tried and there were plenty of things it did right and just as many to counteract the things it did wrong. Emperor Cumquat has a few analyses that are definitely pretty accurate although obviously I still have my fair share of differences with them in terms of how harsh that judgment really is. But keep in mind that this was completely uncharted territory for a major piece of media with the first ever real exploration of a Post War Cybertron. This definitely was no Transformers Prime and it is a shame it wasn't. But if there's one thing both it and Robots In Disguise taught me it's that change is the only constant in life. And this was merely another transformation. One that would pave way to the next two big continuities with Cyberverse and now possibly my newest favorite and the best (especially given how much these machines trigger fascists and make them cry on that Faux propaganda cable scrud with that one prissy little piece of slag in the bowtie) TV show and media of the Transformers franchise. And they especially took major ques and notes from Robots in Disguise with Bumblebee training and looking out for a new generation of Bots with the Terrans.
