I am already looking forward to seeing everyone next year. Like, the pens and stationery available are fabulous, but I really had just as much (if not more) fun meeting and hanging out with everyone as I did shopping. And I'm still trying to psyche myself up for the dragon fox swatching debut. It...will definitely be something, I think. 😅🐉🦊

Thanks so much for watching! I'd heard similar things about Lie de Thé initially, as well, but it seems to be responding with a nice average flow right now. I have it in my Sailor Pro Gear MF, which isn't a dry writer but certainly isn't a wet one. No hard starts or skipping, but of course everyone's experience will be a little different depending on nibs, hand pressure, etc. It is a really lovely color though, so I'd still recommend even a sample.

Yay for more Mystic Storm fans. I need to get a whole bottle - I'm already almost done with my sample. 😭 And Moonstone really is such a good color, right?! I feel like I don't hear much about it even amongst fall color fans (including myself), but it's just such a good shade *and* formula.

If you aren't familiar with different custom nib grinds, the best way to figure out what you like is to go to a pen show and try out the nibs on nib meisters' tables. You'll usually find a selection you can try and get a feel for all the differences. I know this isn't always possible, but it's definitely the easiest way to figure out exactly which nib grinds work best for you. You can also check out nib meisters' websites. They'll usually describe the different styles of nibs available. You can also email the specialists and ask questions. I hope this helps!

I only had this one set, but I used them until they ran out, and they didn't give me any issues. I do think the ink runs through them a bit faster than the Zebra Vintage, but not sooooooo fast that it makes them cost ineffective. Hope this helps!

I'm so sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with Lakbay! 😱 It sounds like your bottle is doing for you kind of what Lakambini did to me, so I'm wondering if sometimes bottles at the end if a run will get hit a little too hard with shimmer - kind of like how some bags of potato chips are crazy salty when the brand is usually OK. Again, sorry you got a problematic bottle. 😢

So it kind of depends. I'll usually have a general theme and then choose colors from there, like "autumn" or "holidays," but sometimes I'll track down interesting stock photos, and select shades that way. And then when I just want to play around, I pick totally random colors that just happen to speak to me in the moment. Picking an ink line-up every month is honestly one of my favorite parts of the hobby. :) Thanks so much for watching!!

It really depends on the nib meister and the kind of grind you want, but they usually start around $50 and go up from there. If you just want a pen tuned, it might be a little bit less, but not always. Most nib meisters offer price guides on their websites if that helps.

It is actually a purse organizer insert on the Milloo site, so I guess at least it does a good job. 🤷‍♀️😜 I don't carry quite this much on a day-to-day basis (I use just a couple small pouches for that), but I do carry it when I'm going on an out-of-the house planner session, like for meetups, last weekend's SF Pen Show, or even when I run to a coffee shop for an afternoon of journaling. I'll bring my large Longchamp instead of my small one and then just pull the Milloo out and pop it in my trunk if I have to run to the market or something. I've found it's also useful to just have at home so I can have one big pouch to tote from room to room instead of half a dozen small ones. It might not be for everyone, but I think it definitely would help someone wanting to consolidate many bags of stationery to one and still have it be organized. I used to carry so much around especially going to work each day and realized other than a planner meetup or traveling for vaca I rarely touched it. So I’ve learned to downsize and don’t carry a lot with me. Just my essentials and whatever I need that week to match my spread. Glad you are loving it! Their bags are so soft 💗
