Music bridges many differences and water is life. Beautiful. Thank you, Ms Smoke! Cheers and blessings to you and yours.
My children learned this song in kindergarten in Ojibwe class here in Sudbury. It will forever be imprinted in our hearts with every beat!

Water is Life.....
❤
My elders taught me that women are not supposed to hit the drum. This is because the drum represents Mother Earth. The beating of it, is the heartbeat of earth. Like a child hears in the womb. Women have their own womb and are mothers. That’s why they don’t hit the drum.
It is taught in our Wabanaki Indigenous Ways that it is WOMAN that brought the Original Drum to the People and gave it to the men. We are reclaiming it now so that All Beings May Benefit. I believe we always held onto the Medicine Drum for our Ceremonies and taking care of our Spirit.
@@EarthKeeperSelinaMu Tapwiy. They have their own pipe also. That’s in a women’s sweat. Each tribe or elder has his or her own way. In Nihiyaw culture, we don’t have women hit the drum. That’s why they sing from behind the men. I don’t know about other tribes. I meant us Nihiyaw people
Interesting approach. Drum also follow heartbeat of body.
Thank you so much❤❤❤I love the water song. 2 years ago I found it on youtube. I use it a lot. Blessings and love from Austria.

We can thank our govnment for the state of where we are now… the people don’t have the will to do anything, fight, speak, go against what is destroying us and than we can be free to live our will not there’s.

If everyone could agree and take actions on big problems, those problems wouldn’t be so big anymore. I love what you’re doing, Swim Drink Fish, keep up the amazing work :)

Gorgeous. Gord's right - the 'toiletization' of water must end. Thanks SWF for inspiring me to 'answer the call' these many years. Onwards with courage!
