ALABAMA BAND: MOUNTAIN MUSIC TOUR 1982: In 1982 on the Mountain Music tour I met drummer Mark Herndon during a break of the band playing softball 🥎 against the local radio station DJ’s. I was a beginning drummer and asked him how to play the fast part on Mountain Music. He showed me with his hands on his legs explaining it was a paradiddle-diddle between the kick and snare 🥁. He said to learn it slowly listening to Ride the Train from the Feels So Right album. I’ll never forget how kind he was to a young drummer and a total stranger! I’ll always love the Alabama band!

Y'all have one of those ladies that can always provide a perfect picture of the so much talent and is such a beautiful place to be in her life and she has really made it happen in such a quick time and she never ever brings a song and the video that will always follow and it is always putting the 🕯️ on it every single way between her amazing 🥰 voice and incredible singing ways to me and others that are faithfully with her and music have to be feeling that very special thing in her life that she is living for her passion for music and her fans and sure anyone who in her family members could only tell us that is the great person she is in her life 🙏

Growing up it was “Billy & Wy”…..they were my absolute FAVORITES singers! I lived and breathed them and their music, read every single article they were in, bought all the posters, merch, and souvenirs, attended every concert they had in Reno/Tahoe and saw EVERYTHING they were in, bought every CD, single, and caught every TV interview (1990s, no streaming). I loved them and still do. What a great story about them! So cool!
