I am a student of stand up and anyone including Eddie Murphy and Bill Cosby could duplicate the delivery and cadence.

I think modern stand up begins here, at this recording. I remember sneaking out to the living room as a 13 year old kid to watch this show and it pretty much changed my life. For the better? Jury's still out.

When I was a kid, my mom would play Mr. Pryor with her company came over. But we would be in bed so my mother thought lol....Mr. Pryor you will always be missed. RIP and mom love you always RIP my queen.

One of the funniest scenes on this album was when he went to Africa there or 700 million of them but but Richard Pryor didn't know none of them then he said I look to me every telephone book in Africa but he didn't find not one Pryor then he said only one familiar name he knew was jabo Walker he said he called them up and they told him he was in Arizona
