First playthrough, first time I ran into a Mirlurk King was way down south and I was low on supplies and health near a school. It was night time and I stepped around a building right into one. He did massive damage to me in one hit so I turned and ran slowing down to use a stimpak and seeing that he is still chasing me. So I ran.. grabbge a bite to eat and he is still coming so I ran some more... and discovered the Atom Cats base and a suit of power armor under a light so I made a beeline straight to the armor and jumped in. Popped my last stimpak and went to go meet it head on... fortunately, the Atomcats spotted him too so it was game on. But with a lot of yelling we made short work of it. I then turned to face the Adamcats and they pretty much ignored me. Was waiting for them to jump me about using their power armor but all the could talk about was how cool power armor is. For me that was one of my more memorable encounters I've had in the game. It chased me a long ways...

I had to move my difficulty from hard to very easy to kill an assaultron the first time I met one after not playing for 6 or 7 yrs. It was a legendary, tho I remember that. Lol
