I used to build seats for Nissan, took a knuckle completely off almost trying to replace a broken headrest post without tearing the whole seat down.

So Toyota used studs on the exhaust headers? Do you know what caused the starter to go bad?

Why the air hammer?

Wish I knew about welding a nut to remove a broken bolt/stud trick years ago. Would have save so much time! I prefer the double nut method for removing/installing studs over the remover/installer tools. The tools damage the threads. What type of welder are you using? Gas or flux core?

It may be different because it may take two different amp alternators. I had a rav4 and I think there was an 80amp and a 120amp don’t quote me I’m not 100% but I know there’s two different amp alternators for that vehicle. May be 80amp and 90-100amp. Can’t remember the higher amps #.

When a $400.00 alternator goes bad. It's usually the $15.00 brushes that need to be changed.

everytime some idiot sees me working on my car they come over and offer to pay me to work replace something on their car, i always turn them down because i don’t need a lawsuit from someone saying i broke something on their car that was already broken or if they don’t take care of their car and i snap a rusted bolt, gotta get out the angle grinder do all that extra work and they give you the old line “but we agreed on $X amount”

I got to do a CX7 AWD 2.3L turbo engine swap (rod bearing spun) - still trying to figure out if I can get it out of the top with transmission or without transmission and if I need to take out the condenser, radiator and bumper... it's a lot tighter for sure!
