i made a big mistake of watching the movies before reading the books. i hated teresa in the movies then i read the books and i started hate her more. i mean she was so calm when she arived in the glade she just beat some boys and then she was like nothing happend, she was too calm. and then in the scorch trails she was so mean to thomas and the gladers and as you can see i started hate her even more i wanted to punch her in the face. but when she died i started feel sorry for thomas because he belived that he could trust her though she betrayed everyone. but all this adventure wouldn't be the same without teresa. newt's and chuck's deaths are the sadest ones

This is a unpopular opinion: Ava seems more of a fallen hero, in TST she told Janson that she didn't want them to feel pain which means she didn't want them to suffer. Idk this is complicated to me too, her character though is so.....complicated, she just seems to be lost. It's the complete definition that "The world isn't black and white, there are also shades of grey" which means she isn't good or bad she's just complicated, the same goes with everybody in this show (except janson lmao) One side are the hopeful and the other the hopeless, Thomas represents the hopeless. WICKED and Teresa represent the hopeful. And at the end the only hopeful is Teresa. Honestly when you actually see it in a different way Janson and Thomas both want to choose who save. (Thomas the immunes and his friends, Janson WICKED) The only one that's an exception is Teresa and that's what makes her so complicated, she doesn't pick a side she just plays the game her own way, that's what makes her so special. But honestly why kill Mary? You can see it in Teresa's eyes that she knew that this wasn't the deal, but if she didn't comply it wouldn't be just Mary to die. The prequels explain everything, that's why people should read them.

"Maybe they'll succeed where we failed" Well Teresa did. Since she died (VERY VERY SAD) it's up to Thomas to finally open his eyes and see things realistically and that the world is dying and that he isn't the center of the world, he must honor Teresa's work to save the world.

One more thing. What's true love without it's ups and downs heh? True love isn't a fairytale where everything just goes perfect. Thomas and Teresa had their ups and downs and still loved each other, that's what's true love. Honestly Brenda and Thomas ending up together seemed too forced and just to leave the audience that Thomas isn't miserable. Please read the prequels before talking shit about a character. Brenda's and Thomas's love was too simple and too straightforward.

Well well well, "you can't save everyone" and yes you can, you just got to care. Also note that Teresa also saved Brenda's ass bc Mary wouldn't have let Brenda go with them in the safe heaven. Teresa noticing that she's been cured made her go to the safe heaven. Teresa is the only hero I see here. WICKED, Thomas and the immunes trying to choose who to save. And Teresa is: What if we could save everyone. WICKED and the immunes aren't so different after all huh. Newt's death is on Thomas for not listening to Teresa, her just saying to him that if he listened to her she can cure Newt shows how much she actually cared, even though Newt despised her, she fucking cared and that's what I fucking love about her.

Unpopular opinion. I would have done the same thing, but just going to give myself in. Not betraying anyone. And even betraying them like she did, I still support her for that. And fucking pay attention, the only one that died was Mary the rest were electorcuted and arrested from WICKED. Also, I see no difference between Thomas and immunes and WICKED. Both trying to save their ass and leaving all the other people go to hell, so heroic of Thomas innit? And Newt died because Thomas didn't fucking listen to the only scientist that had academic experience, she fucking saved the world and Ava was right. The villain I see here is fucking Janson. Ava deep down felt sorry for the kids, what could have she done though? Let the world crap itself out? And since Mihno failed to cure the girl, Ava wouldn't have harmed him no more, It's Janson that gave the order to extract as much as possible. The only heroI see here? Teresa Agnes. Girl didn't lose hope even when everything failed. PERIODT. WICKED's ways were wrong tyrranical and cruel, but was there any other known way to make a cure? Fuck no.
