TESLA OWNERS! Here are 3-tips for maintaining your battery
Yosemite National Park, located in the western Sierra Nevada of California, is a place of extraordinary natural beauty and ecological diversity. Covering an area of over 750,000 acres, Yosemite is renowned for its towering granite cliffs, spectacular waterfalls, pristine streams, and lush meadows, all set against the backdrop of the rugged Sierra Nevada mountains. The park's most iconic feature is El Capitan, a massive granite monolith that rises over 3,000 feet above the valley floor. El Capitan is a mecca for rock climbers from around the world, who come to test their skills on its sheer vertical face. Nearby, the soaring cliffs of Half Dome draw hikers and climbers eager to conquer its challenging summit. Waterfalls are another highlight of Yosemite, with Yosemite Falls being the most famous. Plunging a total of 2,425 feet in three cascades, Yosemite Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in North America and a breathtaking sight to behold. Bridalveil Fall, with its delicate appearance and graceful descent, is another popular waterfall in the park. Yosemite Valley, carved by glaciers millions of years ago, is the heart of the park and home to many of its most famous landmarks. The valley is a haven for wildlife, including black bears, deer, coyotes, and countless bird species. It is also home to the park's main visitor center, where visitors can learn about the park's natural and cultural history. Beyond the valley, Yosemite offers a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities. The park is crisscrossed by over 800 miles of hiking trails, ranging from easy strolls to challenging backcountry treks. The park's rivers and streams are popular for fishing, rafting, and swimming, while its meadows and forests provide endless opportunities for picnicking, bird-watching, and nature photography. Yosemite's rich cultural history is also a draw for visitors. The park is home to several Native American tribes, including the Ahwahneechee, who have inhabited the area for thousands of years. The park's name, Yosemite, is derived from the Miwok word for "killer," a reference to the fierce reputation of the Ahwahneechee people. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Yosemite became a mecca for artists and writers seeking inspiration from its natural beauty. The work of photographers like Ansel Adams and writers like John Muir helped to popularize the park and raise awareness of the need to preserve it for future generations. Today, Yosemite is one of the most visited national parks in the United States, attracting millions of visitors each year. Its stunning scenery, abundant wildlife, and wealth of recreational opportunities make it a place of unparalleled natural beauty and a testament to the power and majesty of the natural world.
Give the guy in the marketing team a raise lol
Why would you need an adapter though? Laptops have ethernet ports
since when do you need an account
LOL this is 100% NOT a scam
Great event 👍 Thanks for joining.
Hold up. You guys crashed a real Cybertruck for this video?
This is an amazing idea. I also have a 6 person family. I hope you can pull it off.
Glad my gas tank doesn't need servicing or replacing.......what do these batteries cost and how do you recycle these batteries once they are removed from the vehicle.

Yes….yes good thoughts….
Nice fridge
Bruh come on. You can’t say that about Elon without mentioning his antisemitism on x. Be unbiased
Apartheid money and taking credit for other peoples ideas. There, answered it for you
You guys tried charging me 750 for a simple steering wheel installation! I installed it myself and i am 17! Over priced.
Post the video so others don't get scammed.
Great!
u casually show off a different model S
Yes because the intelligent chargers also slow down the charging process after 80% to let the battery cool down.
The reason is mostly due to the battery nearing full charge, the last percent has to be added much more carefully (slower) to avoid overfilling the cells. Overfilling the cells could destabilize them and cause damage or even a fire. But avoiding going above 90% is the sweet spot for long battery health.
I'm going to need to see a source for the "don't charge to 100%" nonsense. I've seen countless videos by countless CZcamsrs debunking the old "don't charge it to 100%" myth in regard to modern lithium ion and lithium polymer batteries. I call absolute bullshit on that.
That’s pure bullshit you’re right
Why would you doubt scientific research? And how does one youtuber's opinion supercede that of the laboratories and the manufacturers? Even in hobby grade lithium based batteries, it is a fact that over the long term, batteries that get fast charged and constantly pushed to max capacity don't have as long a life. And of course you can do it, the difference is that abusing a battery pack that costs $80 is not that big of a deal, specially if I am going to replace it soon anyway. But with how expensive a full power module on a car is these days, it is wise to follow the manufacturer charging best practices.
Its not? Its because of the materials the batteries are made out of
But does it lose 40% of it's range in winter? Before I get my hopes high and sell my arm and leg to get an EV. My Prius is best eco car I've ever bought.
I am no engineer, but I always thought iron weighed...well, a lot?
@evsrepublic FUNDAMENTAL ERRORS in the first few sentences! . You imply that "Lithuim ION" cells are still "the heavy lifters at Tesla", but they wil be using "Lithium IRON" Batteries in future. . That gives the impression that "Lithium IRON" cells are not "Lithium *ION* " cells. . Thats going to confuse the "uninformed", especially since in the next paragraph you refer to LiFePo4 (correctly) as "Lithium ION". . LAZY? . Are you sure about that power rating? . I mean higher operating voltage x similar current equals more *power* from NMC, etc? (Also explains a more violent reaction when compromised?) . Please confirm when EM suggested "LiFePo4 will be used for trucks"? (I don't think so) . Probably a good idea to proof read the script? (Again?)
Junk
The EV battery technology has helped me with the batteries for my house. To buy 28,000 watts worth of batteries a year ago $49,000. I will be putting in an order for my batteries 71.5kw. $19,000 by the end of the month. For my house. LFP. 71.5kw will run my all electric house for 14days minimum. With out any input from my solar. I'm not in any way a tree hugger. As a matter of fact living in Wisconsin. I wish global warming would hurry up. I just want to eliminate all bills for my house. So that I can retire soon. Without worrying about paying any bills. Let alone worrying about them going up.
Cheaper? It is not stated, but usually the driving force in these corporate decisions.
I think the Aptera is a good step towards. EV usage as transportation. But diesel is the only workhorse. For a very long time. Towing even small trailers with ev pickups. Is just not possible unless it's for a distance of less than 100 miles. Which means. Not really practical for even going camping. Unless they come up with a car/truck that has a diesel generator that runs the electric motors. Like all the electric trains that everyone likes to quote. Diesel generator electric trains.
Take that EV to Tower Minnesota in January, park it outside ... let me know how that goes
Search "Bjørn Nyland arctic circle" . He has a "habit" of driving EVs (favours Tesla) to the northern most point in Norway (Arctic circle) In winter. . Then he camps in the car overnight. . Heating on Battery management on. No charging. Wakes up, checks the battery. Usually about 5% used (Or, he could drive there, camp for 5 days, then drive home without charging)
Who you repeating?
😍😍
You guys! 😊
Lithium batteries are not and cannot be the future. Lithium is an environmental horror in the production.
OIL is "an environmental horror" in production .... AND use..... AND consequences.
@@rogerstarkey5390 Ah sure, thats a perfect reason to switch from polluting the air and cause a climate change to polluting the ground water with toxic chemicals. Aside frome this there is not enough lithium to replace all carbon cars.
They way too heavy for mobile use…
They actually use FAR less input energy to move a comparable vehicle the same distance compared to a fossil fuel vehicle.
That's the ugliest goddamned truck I've EVER seen... YOU can keep it!!!
On point with what I have been saying to all the EV haters. Batteries have come a very long way in a short time. I think we will see another very big improvement in the next couple years. And far as the charging stations, we had to go through all this with petrol stations too. It's just another step.
What every vehicle owner craves is getting to the next red light first while simultaneously entering the freeway with the speed of a loaded cement mixer.
.... and starts rusting within 2 weeks .... what a rubbish vehicle ... and this sounds like paid advert.
I can finally tow my girlfriends
They need to have a luxury model with a quality interior
Teslas are superior vehicles.
Please explain how any reasonable regular maintenance inspection would have allowed you to avoid the door motor going out?
But X-raying the entire car, and seeing problems before they happen. Duh! Of course I'm joking, ev marketing is mostly bs.
@@arthurr8670I mean EVs are fine if you fit the use case. But this video is just a maintenance shop trying to get suckers to bring their cars in all the time to make money.
Already changing the motor???? My 1994 GMC with original 350SB has 510,000km and STILL GOING!!!!!
Remember your ev, depending on the age, is required by law to emulate a noise while driving so it is less of a risk to others who are not aware of these vehicles which do not make noise from combustion
Fail, some vehicles have 3 or even 4 drive units, one for each wheel
Fail?
EV's are a joke😂😂😂😂😂
Current EV tech can solve a lot of the problem at scale, but unless energy density improves 10x, there will be no Star Trek (SW didn't even try)
"Pick a multiple...run with it"? smh
I THINK THAT I HAVE BEEN STUCK BEHIND MORE TESLA DRIVERS GOING WAY BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT THAN ANY OTHER VEHICLE❤❤❤
Interesting, never heard this one before...and i read a bunch of posts.
This sounds really great but how often is something like this needed, let’s say I get a new Tesla off the lot, how long until I come to you for a new replacement
Around 100-150k miles is roughly a battery replacement. Some people get lucky and don’t replace any batteries for 150k miles and some have to even change batteries under 100k. Most teslas have a 100k battery warranty though.
What this guy is saying is just don’t buy an EV now it’s already yesterdays technology.
Come on then.... Tell us, what's the coming technology? . (Just don't say "fool cells", or hydrogen combustion)
People are buying these piles of crap still?
