Needs different wheels to pull the track width in. It looks awesome but awkward, too wide for trails. There is a cool product to reinforce the weak radius arms AND make a temporary repair to get home if you break one.

Installing the heim system and trying to center the pitman arm. This is the first video I've seen to do that by adjusting the drag link. Good stuff!

why you should never install a roller cam again .... why you should never install a hydraulic cam again .... why you should never install a cam again .... run a sleeve valve engine and never worry about cams or lifters ever again

Congrats Russ. Marriage is like off roading. It’s fun, it’s exciting, but sometimes it can be tough, and sometimes you just need to take it slow and steady. But if you stick with it to the end of the trail it’s so rewarding.

Prob only take 30 mins to diagnose the headlight. First thing after testing voltage and ground you should have got a 4 foot wire and directly connected the headlight to the battery test the light itself the inside switch works since the driver light works. So it is a connection issue between switch and headlight. Using a direct connection between light and battery will tell you the lights good or bad. But before that testing voltage and ground with a meter should tell you if both are good. If the ground is good move to line side and backtrace the wire. Voltage good add a ground and see if light works.

If your headlights don't work, it is because you have a bad electrician. Also, first comment how...

coil overs.. because you will end up doing that eventually anyway.

Looks like it would be easy to make a “boxing” kit for those stock weak brackets

That happened to mine as well. Not sure where but the driver side was twisted even worse than this video. Passenger side was perfect. I bought a replacement bracket that is upgraded. Sadly the shock skids I bought didn't fit so I have two different shock brackets, now - stock with an aftermarket skid and a reinforced shock bracket on the other.

Morgan...for a crawler do a tummy tuck, anything you can do to remove hangups between the tires to include suspension mounts and drivetrain.

Great documentary Mitch! I got to be a small part of the 2005 Baja 1000 and it's something I will remember forever. Great to see some fellas I knew from CO and that they are still racing the baja!!
