After tweaking this new quad for a few days it was time to get some air. Shorter flight than expected, but thankful for nothing more than a couple bent props. Those trees tops will be a bit easier to see in the summer.🤪

My first time flying this area, and I can already tell it will be one of my favorites. Hardly any people to annoy, and lots of open space to cruise around.

4th pack of the afternoon and I must have gotten a bit overconfident. I didn't think the area where I went down was a dead zone...oh well, I blame the overhead powerlines. They say if you're not crashing, you're not learning. ;-)

After a couple of months poking around in various simulators (roughly 50 hours) I finally made it outside and actually got into the air. Lots of wind coming from my back made for an interesting first flight, but other than that, it felt so good to finally be off the ground!! The sims got me excited, this flight has got me hooked!

After playing with my new Tinyhawk III Freestyle on the bench for a few days, I decided that a trip to the park was in order. Unfortunatly, I'm also a Betaflight noob and obviously had some issues with my configuration. This video is primarily a reminder for me of how my FPV journey began. This park looks incredible at sunset like that, wow! Makes for some really aesthetically dramatic footage.
I also bought the analog one. Unfortunately, these accidents are not uncommon with analog systems. I lost another drone two days ago because of the bad picture 😂
The lens flares from the sun makes this flight look much more dramatic! So sick!
