Nothing is hard in math if you're interested in it. Finding it hard eather means your teacher sucks balls or you're learning it the wrong way, or, obviously, if you're not interested in the subject. Most of the time the information gets in your head way more easily if you ponder the questions and correlations yourself, doing so will make each of your discovery truly yours. Need not to forget every discovery in math came from curious people playing around with ideas and correlations. That is the essence math

I had the same situation as you but slightly different I was goated in mental arithmetic calculations and loved math but now I’m secondary school and I get geometry and trigonometry and it’s not what I was used to and then now I’m learning differentiation, and it’s just pure grinding, but I always make one mistake, mess up part a, and got everything after that wrong

SOOOOO relatable xD Even tho I loved math, I thing the whole educational system it's not properly design _teach_ math... An a looooot of other things. My advice for you, and anyone reading me, is to never stop learning. At your own pace, calculus can be reaaaaaally beatiful when are not forced to _brute force_ through countless hellish exercises. You did good in quitting. However I hope someday you give it another chance :3

It's because math is taught in a very dysfunctional way. Pretty sure all subjects are but especially math. Math should be taught as steps to solve the problem and the ways to use the knowledge to your advantage. That way 1 the student has clear consice instructions with a focus on the fastest / easiest ways of getting things done. 2 A way to self check. 3 ONLY being taught useful and functional math. So no graphing polynomials quadratic equations etc. ONLY math concepts that have a formula and a way to check your work manually. All too specialized and unnecessary for general education. Ie.. you should ONLY be taught math in college if you're trying to be a math teacher. This is the problem with college.. bloat ware classes. That have nothing to do with the major. If it was taught right, more students would love math and not fail it. Teachers think thinking has anything to do with knowing how to solve a problem. Smh. If you don't know you can't magically know. 😅 Old tops and their ways of thinking. Thinking complexity and dysfunction is good. Useless knowledge. That's a very outdated mindset.

I thought level 7 would be something like tensors or differential geometry. Calculus isn't that difficult if you have passion to study it. Also some commentators are correct that math allows you to learn science much better. For example, I used to always hear the vague term "energy" in grade school. Its unclear to me what it was until I learnt how to quantify it in physics.

I dont get why people hate math. Personally im the exact oposite to most people I meet. I struggle with mental math alot and often cant add or subtract numbers in my head quickly but have no problems with algebra as long as I practice it.

Horrendous video. Mathematics is a numerical representation of logic - something any human uses daily hundreds of times. It's simply a way of training different logical and problemsolving skills. "Adding letters" is the mathematical way of being able to structure logic without full knowledge, and using said logic to then arrive at the full knowledge. Throughout the whole video you sound exactly like the kind of person who would never realize that - an idiot.

My caffeine tolerance is so low I could drink a sip of my usual hella bitter coffee and still have the same side effects as those who drank 400mg caffeine, but still, i don't mind this at all I mean, having these side effects is my only proof that this coffee is really working me well . I love the daily vibration and stomachache Specifically is that i don't really eat before consuming any caffeine (just to make the effects more clear) We really like torturing ourselves. I be just like : umm, this coffee is so bitter, tastes awful but still drinking 250ml from the so morning
