Hello, the spot at 9.15ish minutes is in between Montipulciano and Pienza. You wont miss it as there are not many different routes to travel between the two cities. Choose the shortest one and you should come to this place.

Hi, Val D'orcia is a reasonably big region of Tuscany which is best explored by car. Pienza is one of the prettiest towns of this region. Though it might be a little stretch for one single day but you can also check out Bagno Vignoni and its unique city centre! Have fun!

Hi. Yes there are plenty of places to park all around, outside of the city walls. And no we did not do any prior reservation in Sette Di Vino, neither do I think they take any. But not sure if things have changed since we travelled in 2022. Have a nice time in Pienza!

Also this year the spring has been quite stormy and wet along the coastline, is what some locals also told us. So while there were very warm sunny days, we also enjoyed a few days with cloudy skies providing the much needed respite.

Good idea 👍Will explore Indian cuisine there next. This time we were just curious about the local Portuguese food there and that's what we tried covering.

The hidden Tasca gems were so amazing! And yes we wanted to try the Cod and the Sardines, but unfortunately we were there only for 2 days and could only eat as much. But for sure, the seafood will be our first choice in our next visit.

Regarding renting a car, we are sure that is possible, but given the topography of the city with numerous inclines, narrow streets, lot of tourists and street parking full of cars, not really sure if renting a car would be more of a help in city exploration or rather be more of a liability and stress. In our opinion the city is best explored on foot, for everything else there is this awesome network of public transportation.
