Do you have to reprogram the radio after change the screen?

Has anyone had the same problem after changing out the screen or digitizer? Or did I just happen to buy a bad screen?

I tried everything I’m a car technician I do work for Toyota car dealerships I showed the video to multiple mechanics. None of them have ever seen that happen before. I even Took it to 3 different dealerships to get the oil change and have them look at the window and they still can’t fix it One dealership blamed the tinted windows I’m getting pissed I figured I post some videos. Maybe Toyota will respond.

Turn off the truck when the window is at the top

You need a window relearn with and obd2 scanner.. maybe mechanic. Dealership will cost too much

This used to happen to me I would let it up a little bit at a time until I finally closed it. Sometimes I will even hold my hand to the window to apply a little bit of force as I'm bumping it into the closed position

Roll it down completely and then back up

Flip your highbeams 20 times then press the brake pedal 10 times then flip the highbeams 20 more times you’ll be good to go

Push it down and hold button for 10sec. Or hold it up not auto up mode manual first click or switch, if goes up don’t let off hold it for 10sec. This usually re-initializes the range.

This video damn sure helped me change my ghost infected suburban factory radio digitizer. A little fast paced if you’ve never done it before but definitely helpful. Thanks for uploading it. It is greatly appreciated.

Ok but you did NOT show how to remove from dash!

The digitizers are about $12 on ebay. That seems to be the defective part on all of these models. If you need the screen + digitizer it's $60 to $70. You'd think that General Motors would've done a recall on these for the vehicle owners. This goes bad in nearly every single vehicle.

I watched your video of the Altima Sentra touchscreen replacement and commented on it. But that was a year old video so I thought I would comment here because it’s the newest. My 23 Sentra radio is not the same as your video but it’s the only video even remotely similar I can find. I’ve also tried to message you on your eBay shop. I could really use some help.

I have a 23 Sentra and it’s not the same radio at all. It looks similar but screw locations are not the same or don’t exist on mine. Any idea where I can find a video of my exact model.

Idk if you’ll reply but I did the replacement with an SL03 like yours and am getting the image screen off center. It’s about .25 of an inch to the right side (so much I can see a black borderline upon using the backup camera. Do you know what’s the culprit for this and how can I solve it?

Thank you. Great Instructions. Worked great. Everything works great. Two comments for anyone else using this video. IT'S GREAT.... comment #1. BEFORE this video starts, you have to remove the climate control unit. There are other videos around on doing that step, but their instructions for the radio as not as good as these instructions. You don't need to remove screws to remove climate unit, it just snaps in and out. But you have to remove it to get at the last two little screws. comment #2. AFTER this video, when you turn on the unit, it displays a graphic of the screen floating in space. I assume this is some kind of calibration step or something. Anyway, I think it is normal. I got that screen, it lasted maybe 45 seconds to a minute (and I was sweating bullets that I messed something up!) and then the normal screen shows up and everything works!! Those two steps before and after this were somewhat tricky to me. Hope that a little about those helps someone else.

Hey, Question My screen on a Ecosport 2021 which has Sync 3, its all broken just like a phone would look like, does the digitizer makes it look like that or is the whole LCD ??

First thank you for this excellent video. I successfully installed the digital glass on my son's 2019 4 runner and it works perfect,exept for the left side of buttons: on/off, volume, audio, apps and home buttons don't work, it all works on the steering wheel .What could be the problem??/ The white ribbons ??? I check it twice !!!More ideas please!

I am having trouble getting my ribbon cable clasp to close as easily as seen on you install in at 7:12, any advise? I can get the unit to power up but the screen is still unresponsive i feel it is because of this cable.
