The Old Course was not about to give everything up that day. 😉 I'll argue you were in the red this round despite those 2 doubles. Nicely done. We all know that everyone playing at the AIG will happily take -1 over those closing holes come late August. Iona, thank you for your sense of the moment within your respectful manner. If you have qualified, you'll have a head start with Steve on your bag for the tournament. Loved watching him take notes, checking your yardages, club selection, a consummate professional.

This (with Part 1) is the best course vlog on CZcams. Iona: your determination and grit was so good to see. But the best was the caddy. He was reticent with you early on, but when you needed it he came out of himself. Hire him!

These two vids were wonderful. The hole graphics that popped up were really, really good. Watching you play and the back and forth with Jonesy was very entertaining and fun to watch. And the old course is such an iconic place. Not sure why but I found these vids soothing in a way. The yellow gorse has a certain beauty that sits so well on courses like this.
