Got it to work on the second attempt, wasn't aware of just how much force was needed on the trigger. The only other remark is that some bleed valves have a separate airway, when you open the radiator valve to start the process water starts coming out of the airway hole - if you have one of these having somebody (or a third hand) to stop the water coming out while you open the radiator valve and support the Fernox container would be helpful.

Having a power flush tomorrow after having a new boiler and new radiators installed. Just wondered what's involved so glad I saw this video.

0:41 does it matter which value you open? I assume this is to make space for the volume coming in from the can? So wouldn’t it be more important to open the out value? Or does it not matter

How come the F1 Fernox I have in a new bottle is a brown colour. Your's appears to be clear.

I have the TF1 filter without the inlet and outlet valves in the line. I am about to clean the filter out and will be adding F1 protector and F4 leak sealer (I have a small leak on a radiator and I'm going to see if F4 can seal it before I replace the rad). Can the two products be added one right after the other, or do I need to add one, circulate it then add the other?

what causes a fernox Omega TF1 filter to drip at the bottom?

i found that once i had done this that moving the magnet in and out a few times released even more gunk. so dont just just put it back, give it a few runs.

Are you not better dropping a bit of pressure from the system before adding this then top up the pressure as required? as could it over pressure the system?

can i leave it in for more than a week?

Clever marketing ploy to make people buy an extra bottle because they got the contents everywhere but except inside the radiator 😂,here’s what you need to do..open radiator nut that goes into the valve and drain at least the amount of water that’s in that can first and then add the contents to the radiator

By opening the inlet valve before charging, does this not put the inhibitor into the mains? I would have thought it should be the outlet valve open then inject the inhibitor, into the system, close the drain valve, remove canister, replace drain cap, open inlet valve.

I found that I was only getting a trickle coming out until I 'exercised' all of the valves by opening and closing them a few times. Then I got a proper flow through and I could flush the filter properly.

Drain the radiator half. Open the bleed valve screw a little. Remove the plug and then fit the adapter and inject the sealer Close bleed valve Put the plug back in

Hi, i want to fit these and do a video using your various filters. But adaptors are the issue, do you provide adaptors? I know some manufacturers give them away free but i can't find any information?

Video is too ideal and not fully clear. I did exactly as said and when replacing empty can with blending valve, sealant got out from the radiator before I was able to put a valve inside. Need to do it again but I am not sure how and i am not happy with instruction at all.

Traditional bleed valves. That centre slot head screw comes right off with a bleed key?

This method, unlike other videos I see, doesn't require about half a litre of water to be drained from the radiator before adding the F1.

Bonjour, combien de temps maximum puis je laisser le Fernox F3 express dans l installation de chauffage central (durée entre l ajout et la vidange du réseau), une heure, un jour, une semaine, un mois? Installation en PER sur collecteur. J ai installé un pot a boue sur le retour. Merci.

Can you add too much inhibitor? Could excessive inhibitor cause any damage to the heating system?

You guy's need to improve instructions on the canister, it's very misleading for a non professional. Created headache without reason. This video is very clear, and very different from the instructions on the canister,which so simple they lack sufficient information to do the job.

Just makes a simple process more complicated IMO.

If the water is coming out that color, did some one forget to add the F1 Protector to the system?
