Those are of Paul O'Neill and Joe Oliver immediately stepping up and securing the win for Browning after his ejection. We could use more people raising children to be kind and to smile. He was one of a kind and one of my personal heroes.
Then Dale Earnhardt.
Pretty soon. This will be silenced. So will Dimaggio. Then Gretzky. Then..................
Huh. I wonder why CZcams, and espn, have turned off comments of The Bear Bryant, and now, The Babe Ruth sportscentury. I really can't imagine why?? Hmmmmmm. Looks and sounds like alot of Republicans are right.
All I have to say is “Does You Have Asthma?” and my fiancée cracks up laughing. 4:18
2024 and we can’t hear Chevy utter “the N word,” but we can hear Pryor yell “ honky.” Pffft.
ERIC THE RED
Best pitcher since WW2. Only Walter Johnson tops him as the best right hander or greatest of all time:
I love the way Jay flips away all the cards down to the floor when he’s done reading them! And I watch the reruns 😅
Saw Seaver pitch for The Mets from 1970-1977 at Shea many times. He really was the best.He would have earned another 30 wins if he was with a team that hit.
My cousin helped keep all his fancy car running! Can’t remember how many care he had back then!
It's hard to keep championship teams together for more than a few years. If you want to try, you better be prepared to spend a lot of money.
Dear CZcams, stop making me wake up to Jay Leno
This couldn't exist today because everything is fake and they would never issue corrections. It's a wild time to be living where we have information everywhere, but information nowhere
Trash
0:06, :A
Reds barely beat Red Sox A's handled Reds in 7 without their best player winning 3 of 4 in Cinncinati .
I graduated thar year! wow! I loved watching Jay Leno in the 90s , "Headlines" and "Jay Walking" was my fav.
I never remember any Reds starting pitcher getting a complete game victory, but to Sparky Anderson's defense, maybe it was a good idea to pull starters early, as in after 5 innings or so just to save the wear and tear on their arms over the course of the season - Anderson did go to relievers quite a bit but looking back on it, it worked effectively most of the time based on the Reds' winning percentage during the time period of say 1970-78.
Omg I thought I was the only one! This video always pops up it's the "I got you babe" to my groundhogs day!.why does it keep coming back I've never searched Jay Leno! I was a Letterman fan for Christ sake!! Please make it stop CZcams!
Anybody remember Gary Hart? He was the 1978 frontrunner, derailed by an extramarital affair. If anyone can be bothered to look into the history, Hart and Al Gore could have the world a better place. I say this as an Independant, who votes the Issues, not a Party Line.
Bench couldnt hit 300 if his life depended on it
Except in 1981 when he hit .309 and the Reds had the best record in baseball. Or in the 1972 NLCS when he hit .333, or in the 1976 NLCS when he hit .333, or the 1976 World Series when he hit .533 making the Reds the only NL team to repeat in the last 100+ years. He was probably too busy hitting bombs, winning MVPs, winning games, winning gold gloves every year and making below average pitching staffs perform above average to worry about hitting .300 anyway.
Does he say read the Fucking print at around 5:40?
It does sound as though Jay is saying "fucking print", however, he is saying "fine print." The recording is old and the video skips or there's a glitch at 5:40
Great interview with Tom Terrific. Dick Schaap always one of the best sports interviewers. He was also a pretty good athlete himself - an all American lacrosse player at Cornell, and a longtime friend of the great Jim Brown, the greatest lacrosse player ever. Thanks for posting this. Seaver’s insights always intriguing and interesting.
Why does CZcams obsessively recommend this
Sleepy time watching Just for you though . I used to wake up to linus and the bloody wan show
@@epistulaexmortuus not even kidding it’s been all Linus lately until this video last night. Not complaining on any accounts but definitely validating your comment here 👍
I just woke up to this!!
You're a back Europe actually pre-charges
It was a transparent phone: nobody claimed it was an invisible one.
This is fascinating. Has anyone been enable to detetmine how or why this occurs?
Jim Maloney was one of the pitcher's during his era that was very underrated but was great and threw smoke
Remember awful technicals and lack of talent? No longer!
3:05 850 is that you
You have repestedly pushed this ancient, not funny video on me, CZcams! WHY, over and over!?
What a incredible trio of Center fielders NYC had in the 50's and early sixties! Willie, Mickie and The Duke!
43:07 2024 here. That’s now a legitimate question.
What is happening here there’s like 3 of these videos with 5 million views
Did Jay just say read the f n print 5:39 😅😂
At 5:39 he says fucking. 😂
At exactly 11:51 , every Monday night. I Never missed Headlines.
46:03 baby Jesus!!
"does you have asthma?" god damn Jay would fill an entire episode with our headline/byline robo-typos these days... i swear NOBODY PROOFREADS anymore.
IS IT JUST ME THAT I NEVER FOUND JAY LENO TO BE FUNNY?? HE ALWAYS SEEMED LIKE HE WAS FORCING THE ACT, MUCH LIKE ELLEN DEGENERATE. NOT SAYING HE WAS NOT TALENTED, BUT HE JUST CAME OFF AS A PHONEY, A GREAT "BIG PHONEY". CONAN WAS #1.
It's really not that serious.
The thumbnail isn’t as funny now, he wishes that was all that he is in trouble for
how in the world has it been 34 years?
I have come to this after P. Diddy has been on the run. Incredible.
What's hilarious and Timeless about these is that they weren't written by any comedians. This was free abundant material that came off the stupidity of everyday people and the media. It's like no one had editors in those days for their advertising! As outrageous as these were on their own, Jay always had great banter to go along with them. And I love Kevin's genuine laugh continually in the background.
Good guy my carcass. He's a acab who shivved Conan O'Brian. (Fell asleep and this was playing when I awoke.) O'Brian's a class act who doesn't mention his name or his loss of the Tonight Show gig.
Sas=s’s ma Mbnmmm BP
Aw man, if Mr. Jay Leno was still hosting his show he would have so many headlines to laugh over after all this craziness going on! 😂😂😂
He said the F word! @5:36 😂
I thought I heard that!
