Sober since 5-10-2015 😊buried my Dad my Mom (married 66 years) and my Husband of 21 years marriage all in my first 4 years of sobriety 😢got my 4 year chip on 5-10-2019 and that same day buried my Husband 😢I did not pick up a drink and will celebrate 9 years sobriety this Friday 5-10-2024 😊thank you GOD & AA ❤

It’s a pity the fellowship can’t get over the fact that WE don’t choose to be alcoholics and addicted, it’s just how it is 🙏🏽

1964 This man Jim’s sobriety date .. I was 3 years old .. Incredible that I am alive Sober and Deeply Grateful to Alcoholics Anonymous.. I so like hearing these “ old timers” from way back 🙂💕✨

God Bless the drunks that came before us and showed us the way. Truly an amazing way of life. Yes a new way that's way way better than the old. A life full of miracles in the AA program. So if your drinking yourself to death. Please make the call for help and never ever give up, good Sponsorship is hard to find at times in AA but the 12 steps are in the first 164 pages in the book Alcoholics Anonymous. The miracle of recovery is happening each and everyday in the AA fellowship, don't drink your self to death! Thanks for sharing 👍

Yes, from 1976 to today AA has changed my life over and over again for the better. I can and do depend on the "origenal 12 step". The 12 step's instructions are within the first 164 pg's in the book Alcoholics Anonymous and they have saved millions all around the world 🌎. So if your drinking yourself to death and want it to stop. Please make the call for help. Good Sponsorship maybe hard to find at times but the steps are in the book, give it a look because no-one can do the steps for you and they have saved millions of Alcoholics and there family also. Be well and good to your self, Alcoholism is a deadly problem that destroys everything good in the life of an alcoholic. Thanks for sharing the tapes, it's a very good study of true AA program today.

OLD SCHOOL AA , he was sponsored by Father Joe Dowling ---Ed Dowlings brother , oldtimer statement means 1st 100 ! or original AA - it is NOT some old guy with a lot of time ! Jim Bramble WAS MY SPONSOR up until he passed with 40 yrs sobriety his Sobriety date was Dec 20th 1964 THE LAST TIME I SAW HIM he was in the hospital organs were failing as we were talking a young women came in the room - he said this SUZIE she is here to do her 5th step - he died 3 days later ! he had taken over 2,000 people through the steps - he felt he should have done more he told me Dr Bob worked with over 5,000 in 15 years up to his death in 1950 ! R.I.P JIM !!!!!1
