In today's digital age, I believe we need digital solutions for navigating our digital world. Obsidian is a free app that I have been using and want to teach you how you can use it.
My mission is to mobilize Christians by first helping them reviewing their minds. In doing this, we can navigate our world of algorithms and pressures, to foster authentic fellowship and friendships for love and good works.
Join me as I create how-to and tutorial videos for learning about the Bible, self-awareness, renewing our mind through learning, and taking action. By positioning our full selves before the Holy Spirit, we can hope to be living sacrifices and be in the world and not of it.

How to Get the Coffee Shop Experience Using Obsidian
Why is the coffee shop experience so prized? And how does Obsidian provide the same experience?
Learn how I use Obsidian, and how it provides the same elements of focus, flow, and creativity.
Whether for a morning "coffee and Bible time", getting my bearings for the week, or sneaking in a moment of philosophical transcendence, Obsidian helps me jump in wherever I am... without having to jump in a car or on a bike (though bike is definitely preferred).

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2

For my folder structure, I used a script to populate my folders by OT/NT > grouping of Books (Pentateuch/Gospels/etc…)>Books. Then I create a file per chapter as I go. My thinking is to exposit the Word and backlink by book/chapter for reference. What I’m missing is a solid template, but look forward to adopting some of your methodology. Great video and thanks for sharing.
Love this process. How do you track and “cross off” when you’ve prayed for a request that day?
My process is to pray down the sections sequentially, to help keep first-things-first (inspired by 1 Timothy 5:8). If I know I've spent time in one of the sections, Obsidian lets you fold sections away by the headings, so I just fold it and keep praying down. You can see how this works starting at 1:39 in my video! I tried prayers as task lists for a little bit (i.e. checkboxes), but it's too easy to just check off and forget, and to me it didn't reflect the realities of laboring for something in prayer with perseverance. Maybe checkboxes work for things like reading plans, but not for the messiness of real-world prayer requests!
Love this.
