Teach people how to do it in LESS SPACE. People are running me over in the lift line because they didn't take poles, and the rentals are waxed slicker than grease and can't even shuffle forward.

Even the instructor is skidding and brushing the slope in this video 😂 I guess the old way of skiing is still valid and requires less effort as 10 metre turn radius on steel edges means lots of G force on your quads.

You should do this by correctly shifting the pressure you put on both legs, not ‘pulling them back’.

Great tip. I tend to dive straight too deep into steeper slopes like these, "to get up to speed", and then indeed I struggle with carving grip. Im going to apply this in Ischgl this winter

What do you do if you are going backward (i was sking the other day and i did go backwards as new skier dint know what to do so i was like standing and going backwars for like 10 sec and asking my dad what to do but when he look at me i did alredy fall and it take me like 2 mins to get back on BUT then i did ho backward again i did tries to stop like i whud if i was going forward if dint work I was lucky that my mom did see me and grab me becuze if she dint i whud probably be in hospital😅)

Or their ski tips are pointing up hill and they slide backwards. Make sure to include how to reset the binding. They are always trying to put skis back on after a release and the heel is still down.
