Wish you could expand another sales rep position in northern Illinois area. Benefit of using rosenbauer ladder trucks is the hot dip galvanized, I have seen pierce tower trucks that are only 9 years old and has rust / cracks

You overestimate the intelligence/common sense of drivers. Using an arrow stick which illuminates the opposite directional arrow you want people to go will confuse many drivers. Other than that, looks great.

Has to be the best looking cab around today.
The rear pump setup makes this rig extremely vulnerable. I've seen too many engines rear ended at scenes. Having the panel at the rear makes the engineer vulnerable. Further, repair costs are much higher. It's just a bad design...
I think it doesnt matter If your truck gets Rear Ended then there is nothing you can do with truck. So its out of Service anyway 🤷🏼♂️
@@andrewerker5185 it does matter because repairs are much more complex and costly with the engineer's panel at the rear
I don’t know about the engineer being more vulnerable with pump panel in the back Curb Side of the engine. Traditional side pump has the panel on the street side of the engine. I’ve also noticed in many street scenes for car fires, the engine is positioned diagonally in the street to provide scene safety but the pump panel is now facing traffic.

any truck rear ended are out of use. The rear pump setup means nothing as the entire truck needs to be repaired as its a full metal structure and damage is not localiced in sections.

I would like to see what happens at the nozzle when a water source is established.
The handlines will manage the pressure. Depending on the pressure at the hydrant you mostly dont feel it. If the hydrant is really hot you may feel a few bumps but it will regulate it withing a second or two.
Pretty amazing technology. I wish we had this when I was on a pumper.
do all the city FD trucks have this version of Sam or is it something different?
Hi Ed! No not all City FD's have this version of SAM, some don't have this technology at all. However the 1st generation of SAM up to current generation does have all the same features! Stay tuned in the next couple of weeks to check out our video of the SAM Boost! The "cousin" so to speak of original SAM.
Very nicely appointed, although I would do the aerial intake from the rear. Also, no offense to ROSENBAUER, IMO that’s the dullest and ugliest red color paint of any other fire truck on the market. 🤷♂️
