I'm 37 about to be 38. I have never had acne. Not until about a year and a half ago. I gained almost 60 lbs after back injuries. I struggle with clinical depression, my eating is not good as I hardly eat at all.. and suddenly l got a shit ton of chin hairs and a TON of acne. ALLLL over my chin. It's bad. I can't help it and I pop the pimples then get scars. I don't know what to do. I took a thyroid test and my doctor said " your thyroid is right near the bad line but not totally there" I'm like there has to be a reason this is happening. Has anyone abruptly experienced a slew of life changes and then got acne and or chin hairs?

DHT is a type of testosterone, a more potent form. Men with hair follicles that are sensitive to it go bald. I'm a guy watching this - I know my acne/spots are hormonal as i've tried everything from 22 to now - 27. Be good to get insight for a male for this.

Got off the pill and my skin decided to just throw a fit

my hormone test was very close to yours! both my testosterone and progesterone were lower than they should of been, but my test. was still higher than my prog. I need to get another test as it's been awhile since my first one.

When ever I do a low bun on my long hair it looks like literal poop, it sticks out and the hair ties can’t keep it compact even with a net.

did you take that hormonal test while on contraceptive pills?
